Absolutely one of my favorite places to go. I love that I can go even during the non-seasonal time and still get an amazing meal.
Hands down best fish and chips. Has the most amazing breading, not greasy, not thick, really nothing bad I can say about it. Super friendly staff, quick service. Top notch in my book!

Service was wonderful, however the food was less than adequate. The rest of my family enjoyed their food, however my burger had a sour almost turned bad flavor. I never complain usually, but I could not eat it and waited to eat when I got home. Sorry guys. Beautiful out near the water there though. We will most surely be back and give it another try.

This is the second time eating lunch here. I got the shrimp plate and the shrimp was cooked perfectly and cole slaw was nice and crisp. Seating on the terrace/patio was nice overlooking the water, but the yellowjackets were a bit annoying. Staff was friendly but could be a bit more attentive. Overall, a nice place to eat.

Highly recommend the fish and chips (cod). White, moist, fresh, delicious. Great waterfront location. The tuna salad was fresh and looked good (my friend said it was good). Unfortunately, the fried shrimp was not cooked- breading was soggy and shrimp nearly raw inside-huge disappointment. Menu described it as butterfly shrimp (see picture, definitely not). Server started out friendly, but when she made a mistake, rather than apologizing, blamed us and wasn't friendly or kind the rest of the time. Even telling us the shrimp isn't uncooked, just has a lot of breading! Made our dining experience unpleasant. Front of the house manager was great though and took immediate action to take care of the situation.
Very tight street parking, hard to find a spot. Parking lots available-quite a walk to get here.

La Conner Waterfront Café has the best fish and chips ever!
We love the riverfront cafe! We stopped by most recently on a Sunday at 4:15pm. They closed at 4pm and we were really disappointed to find that they were supposed to close at 4pm.

However, when we walked in they offered to make us fish and chips even though they were closed! We were able to find a great table on the patio overlooking the river. We ordered 2 fish and chips and 2 iced teas and the food as always did not disappoint!

The fish is breaded in a panko crust that gives it the perfect crunch! Not overly greasy! The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. and the tarter sauce is to die for! (I believe its handmade).

As we left our waitress offered to give us a refill ice tea to go! We took her up on it and enjoyed as we strolled and shopped the town!

Highly recommend La Conner Waterfront Café, the food is great and service is even better!
