Rachawadee Thai Cafe

Hands down the best Thai food in the area! I've lived in Seattle and Bellingham and Rachawadee takes the cake, when it comes to local Thai restaurants. My family and I order takeout regularly and it's always phenomenal. The dine in situation is small, but perfect for an individual or couple. We love to go get dinner here on date night.

Amazingly friendly service, quick turnaround, and phenomenal food.

My favorite restaurant in Mount Vernon. It was just the right spicy and very flavorful. This place is really small. Only seats 8 people tops. And if you order pickup there is usually a 30 plus minute pickup time. But trust me it's worth the wait!

Not a typical American-Thai place! I was pleasantly surprised!
Authentic Thai food cooked right in front of your eyes. Super friendly staff. Super efficient service.
So many good choices on the menu. You may make special requests too.
One note: 3*** spicy here equals 7 in other places. Be conservative when you ask for spicy stars!

Selfishly, I don’t want to share how good this place is because I don’t want it to get any busier!
If you like Thai food, do not go ANYWHERE else. This place nails it on the head. Cooked right in front of your eyes, you know what you’re getting.
Suggestions:
1. careful on the spice level. My husband gets a 4 or 5 at most places. Here he gets a 2! I am a wimp and the 0.5 spice level makes me sweat.
2. Come right when they open or be prepared to wait. Their counter seats maybe 8 people and one time while eating there, the to-go orders had a 2.5 hour wait time. Yes, it’s that good!

Loved the food here! Awesome authentic taste and feel. I had fun interacting with and watching the staff since all the cooking was done right in front of us.
