(March 11, 2020, 4:47 am)Another visit and what a visit it was. Wonderful food and service. We were fortunate to be able to sit and have dinner by the fire! Scallops are amazing along with the chocolate creme brulee!

(March 10, 2020, 10:18 pm)GREAT FOOD, absolutely try the Tuscan chicken with roasted tomatoes over pasta. Great staff, great atmosphere, tremendous choice of what to drink, personal favorite is the dry hard cider imported from England.
Even the original English Top Gear on the telly.
Definitely highly recommend this pub! -

(February 2, 2020, 2:54 am)An hour round trip to eat here is always time well spent! Delicious food and true gluten free meals ok request. You can make a reservation or just drop in. Even if there happens to be a wait you can take a walk by the riverfront to pass the time. We've been coming here for ten years and have never been disappointed!

(July 27, 2019, 4:16 pm)A very good little pub/restaurant. Gluten friendly menu, excellent selection of draft beers, and a cosy vibe. Food is very good as well.
My wife and I used to frequent this place regularly when we lived in the area a few years ago. It was a very welcoming place, with a warm and friendly staff who seemed genuinely glad you came.
This time, though the service was good and efficient, the staff were a little cooler and business like in their interactions with us.
Anyway, lack of warm fuzzy feelings notwithstanding, this is still a great place to eat and drink if you find yourself in the Mount Vernon area.
