“They have a good selection of booze and variety of food but the food prices are a tad high. $24 for a burger and $22 for a big pizza is just not a good medium. But the food is pretty good. As of yet there are no spirits here. Just beer and ciders. About 20 taps available. The servers are really nice and friendly. It's a brand new place so some patience is expected, they're trying to iron out some wrinkles and get into the swing of things. We will probably be regulars here. Tons of space. Hopefully they will get a jukebox and maybe some table games once covid dies down a bit.”

“We waited anxiously for this place to open, and were not disappointed. The previous occupants failed hard at their endeavor, and having tasted their food, rightfully so. Double Barrel has been around for nearly 20 years, and having had their catering on more than one occasion we had a fair idea what we wanted before even walking in. The restaurant itself is open and definitely has a rustic feel. Peanuts are complimentary at each table, and one is expected to pitch the shells on the floor. While that is kind of fun, and adds to the feel of the place, I could easily see someone slipping on them and going down hard on the concrete floor. The food is really good. My wife got the smoked chicken, while I enjoy the brisket. The only dish I added anything to (aside from their variety of sauces) was the slaw which really did need a bit of salt and pepper. There is a full bar with a small selection of standards. Beer is available, and some local breweries are featured. We chatted pleasantly with the staff, and overall had a great dining experience. We will be going back soon.”

“I like Papa Murphy's pizza, it's really good, very tasty. Normally, I have no problems when ordering, however on this last visit, I was sold something I did not want. I said i wanted a cheese/breadstick type pizza, and I ended up with a plastic tray full of sauce and cheese, no crust, it was disgusting, and because of that I've not been back. But If you get what you actually want, they are fantastic. UPDATE: the email address left for me to reply to doesn't exist. My emails are all returned undeliverable. Back to the food, if you find something on the menu you really want, but there's something in it you don't like, they'll do what they can to make the order work for you exactly how you want it. There are exceptions of course. The atmosphere is friendly and up beat. The wait staff are above average here. If you like Mexican food and you are in the Sedro-Woolley area, and you are hungry, this is the place to go, the servings are huge, and the food is excellent”

“Really good food. Flavor profile is a bit different from most of the other Thai restaurants. More sweet and sour than citrus. They are light on the heat, so add a star or two if you like hot. The Yum woon sen was very flavorful and not drenched in dressing. Tom Yum Noodle soup was on the sweet side, but obviously made with care, and in-house. Dipping sauce for fried tofu was like a thinned out Chinese sweet and sour sauce. I'll go back.”

“This is a hometown bakery at its best! Joy’s has been in Sedro-Woolley for as long as I can remember so maybe some of the decore could use some updating, or maybe that is some of it’s charm. You decide. It is always packed. And you always know the people inside. They have cinnamon rolls the size of a plate that I would advise you to share (or save some for later) but are delicious. And a case (that they cannot keep full) of cookies just as big. You will not be disappointed with anything you order for breakfast or lunch! It is just too bad they are not open for dinner.”

“We were nearby treasure hunting (Geocaching) when my sister pointed out that even though it's 30 degrees out we should stop into the local favorite, Hal's, for the milkshakes. I'm not opposed to trying new food items so we wandered over. I love the flavor of root beer, so I opted for the root beer milkshake. The decor had several Elvis themed items so I felt obliged to snap a few photos and tag my Facebook friends that are Elvis fans. Tasty milkshakes, which explained the business even though it was cold: the drive thru and inside. If you're in the area ... stop in!”
