Anacortes Mount vernon

Country Corner

Address: Anacortes, WA 98221, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This was my first visit to this restaurant... The smothered burrito was fabulous (needless to say I had leftovers ????) and the halibut fish and chips were cooked to perfection! Portions were ample. Also indulged in a piece of chocolate pie and a chocolate chip cookie. Service was exceptional and wait time was minimal. Prices were surprisingly lower than expected. Restaurant opens early (6:30am) making it a wonderful spot to have breakfast; however, was thrilled to learn the rather extensive breakfast menu is available all day, every day. Such a cute restaurant with easy access and only a few miles from Deception Pass. I highly recommend and will personally be back several times as I work my way through the menu.”

Riverside Cafe

Address: 2000 Riverside Dr, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

“Well compared to other restaurants locally the menu seems a little pricey. Food quality is good, though make sure the wait staff has your order down correctly. Ordered pancakes and got French Toast..”

McDonald's

Address: 2200 E College Way, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I almost had enough for a plain hamburger. The nice woman at the counter sold it to me anyway. Great staff great place McDonalds thanks for being decent.”

Indulge Bakery

Address: 1501 Parker Way UNIT 101, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“Friendly staff. Cute environment. However the coffee and lattes were very nondescript. Just like you would get at a restaurant. I would expect better at a coffee shop. I appreciate the effort of having gluten free items and understand that they are hard to make but they just were not that good. The people in my family who could eat the regular items had a cupcake (truly beautiful) and a cookie (oh, I had a gf scone) but none of the items were finished. Too bad. It is a cute spot.”

Calico Cupboard Old Town Cafe & Bakery

Address: 121-B Freeway Dr, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

“Beautifully modernized industrial brick building. Old flair with modern twist. Which also describes their food with an added descriptor of utterly delicious! Baked good we’re fantastic with a wonderful variety of breakfast foods. Vegan friendly menu. Family friendly and a good place for groups.”

C•SQUARE & Third Street Cafe

Address: 309 S 3rd St, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

Restaurant Bakery Cafe

“It has a cozy ambiance, pairing perfectly with the latte. We ordered the Third street burger and the pastrami on rye, both having good sized portions and great flavor. Topping it all is delicious tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommend the place, and definitely coming back here.”

Ristretto Coffee Lounge & Wine Bar

Address: 416 S 1st St, Mt Vernon, WA 98273, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Lovely small shop full of beautiful art. Whenever we went in people were being human beings instead of staring at their phones. Staff reasonably nice. Coffee very, very good (but Australian coffee culture has spoiled me, so even Seattle and the neighboring cities could up there game a bit to catch up). Pastries more in the three-and-a-half star range instead of the five-star range. Don’t bother ordering a hot chocolate, the ones my kid had were low quality. Didn’t try other food or any wine. Lines to order sometimes a little slow, so plan accordingly. And they have a community board for local people to post fliers, which I love, because I always want to know what people are doing, what’s happening in the community, what people are selling, etc. Four and a half stars rounded up to five.”

Calico Cupboard Old Town Cafe

Address: 720 1st St, La Conner, WA 98257, USA

Cafe Bakery Restaurant

“The two different Hashes we tried were excellent, butternut squash with bacon and the corned beef. The vegetables were fresh and tasty. The added bacon was crispy and smoky. The corned beef was succulent, bite-sized chunks with sliced red potatoes hash. The coffee was hot and dark, with lots of gluten free bakery goods, including fresh bread with homemade jams. We went to the one in La Conner, we're assuming that they're all this great!”
