“This is and always has been one of our regular go to's. I'm glad they've got some great servers and bartenders there now, and I hope they stay. The food is always delicious and the service typically very good. They recently had some updates to their menu, which to my delight, they brought back the fried mushrooms! Thank you!! “Papas is a gem of Lake Stevens. My wife and I’s favorite place to stop for Mexican fair. Highly recommend the fajitas of any variety, the skillet comes hot and you can smell it coming. The service is impeccable even during busy hours, so I never find my drink dry. Speaking of drinks, try their massive margarita or a huge Dos Equis. You won’t even need a refill. It’s great.”

“First time visit and was extremely surprised! From the outside it looks like a possible biker bar. But you go inside, and it opens up to a really large, clean space, tons of TVs with sports playing, and a great atmosphere. The staff was wonderful! We had 3 littles with us, all under 6, and they treated us like family; very attentive and nice! Oh, and the food was VERY GOOD!! We will definitely be back!!”

“Meatheads is awesome — got takeout for the first time tonight and will certainly be back. We had pulled pork sandwiches and a bunch of sides. The sweet and smoky sauce is delightful, the mac and cheese side fantastic, and the roasted corn was great. The pork sandwiches were delicious, fresh, flavorful and not greasy. “New Kid On The Block - So I knew as I pulled into the parking lot, it was busy. For a Tuesday after Labor Day, I thought that was unusual. This place has been barely open for a hot-second, so I was willing to provide more than my usual patience of a saint. I was immediately greeted by 3 red-shirted hosts. Thought that was odd. I was seated quickly. Venus was my server who seemed timid even though she was my senior by a couple years (I'm 40) She launched into her script, and complied. She returned with my drink order (water), recognized I was ready to submit my order. She answered a simple question of clarification (it was a litmus test for me - knew the answer but wanted to ask) My food was ordered and served within a respectable amount of time. It was how I asked it, and hot. She checked in on me, and left my bill. I looked down on my time piece. 30 minutes from walking in the door, ordering, delivering, consuming it, and paid. I was impressed - and not that easily impressed. Especially with chain restaurants. Nicely done, IHOP Lake Stevens.”

“We absolutely just love the Cowboy pizza. We used to visit this location often and were always impressed with the cleanliness of this particular location and the staff was always friendly and polite. We don't eat pork so we always changed the toppings from pepperoni to chicken and never once, did we have an issue receiving the wrong topping, they are very attentive and respectful of our choices. We appreciate being able to order online or through the app and having it ready to go upon arrival. We subscribed to the emails and constantly are getting coupons and deals, we like this. “Friendly service and authentic German fare. I have traveled Austria and Germany. I have been to Oktoberfest in Munich, visited Berlin, eaten schnitzel in Vienna, and pretzels in Bavaria. This place does them proud. The one pound pretzel is freshly made and delicious, with the beer cheese sauce adding just the right amount of kick. The schnitzel is true to its lineage and absolutely tasty. Even the selection of German beers would feel right at home in any grandma shop in Germany!”

“Excellent! Hadn't been to LJs in a while and what I remember of my impressions from the original location was "nice, but somewhat limited". Well, just visited the new location and was very pleased! Seems like they have a bigger, better kitchen and the impact is significant. The menu has a nice depth to it, not only in selection, but also pricing. And the quality was impressive. The bar has a great selection of craft cocktails and wine as well. Only down note? It's very, very loud. If they invested in some sort of noise reducing ceiling treatments it would improve the atmosphere 100%. Not anything that would keep us away, but just be aware it's not the place for an intimate, "romantic" date. Anyway, we will definitely be back the next time we're looking for a great meal!”
