“What a gem of a place! The customer service right off the bat was fantastic and the woman behind the counter answered all our questions and made some great suggestions. The food was absolutely stunning. The brisket just falls apart with this killer crust. The cornbread comes with a honey cinnamon butter made in house that takes it to the next level, and the homemade baked beans have just the right amount of flavor. That isn't even to mention the homemade BBQ sauces that come in mild and spicy. Both have great flavor and the spicy has just enough kick, but it's not your typical kick from a sauce. SO.GOOD. Can't wait to come back!”

“This is the SPOT Monroe has been needing... just WOW. First of all, the ambiance is romantic, natural and earthy, just the right feel for a date night or romantic escape. The food is 100% stand alone and doesn't need any dressing up, but these guys don't do anything half way! Our waiter Will has been attentive, helpful and his recommendations have been top notch. Our chef came to visit the table when we had a question about the preparation which was charming and very customer centric. The plates arrived lovely and portions were very reasonable, if not ample. If you are in need of a cocktail, Blake will have your jaw on the floor, but only long enough for you to get every FANTASTIC drop of his signature drinks. "Nanas Garden" is exactly the warm, comfy delight it proclaims to be! I was shocked there was gin hiding in this beauty My ONLY complaint is they only had enough basil to make one of these fiendish temptations! This was the PERFECT place for a date night and while you are definitely paying what's due for this experience, the value is there. Nothing says local business like passion and this place definitely has passion in droves. We will be back without question.”

“We have enjoyed Good Brewing since they opened their first location. The beer is always good. Each of the locations offers different food and this location has burgers and fries which we enjoyed. There is a cool mural that they preserved in this location. Staff was great. Beer is always great. If your passing thru Monroe stop here for lunch and beer.”

“What a great place! I ordered by phone and told the restaurant what time we'd be there. I arrived for my first visit to a clean, very wonderfully-decorated dining area with lots of windows, checkered tablecloths, and this wonderful set of lighthouse sculptures along the wall! I didn't want to grab my takeout order and go - I just wanted to sit there and enjoy the gray winter day eating my lunch from the dining room! The staff are funny, kind and just all around nice. I can't wait to come back and enjoy that fabulous lunch from the dining room next time! Thanks for a great lunch, Monroe Fish and Chips!”

“1st time there. First impressions! Welcoming, nice layout and design, very clean, buffet prep layout was clean and had lots of inviting choices. They also had 2 soups and brown and white sticky rice. Service! Waiter sat us quickly, explained the process and all being friendly and had a great smile. Throughout our meal he was attentive!
