“We ate at the Bangkok Thai Argonne location on Saturday, August 5, 2023. The restaurant is cozy, well-maintained, and inviting. I ordered the chicken pad thai and it was seriously one of the best dishes I have consumed at a restaurant in a long time. It was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The restaurant makes adding the right amount of spice to your dish easy by asking you “how spicy you want it” on a scale of 1-5. I went with a “4” and it was just enough to make my nose run and deliver the kick I crave…I loved every bite. The portions are also very generous and the price I paid ($18) was well worth it. Only reason why I can’t leave a 5-star review was because of the service. My wife and I met another couple for this dinner. We were never asked if we wanted drinks, we waited forever in-between different parts of the meal (putting in our order, getting our food, receiving our check, etc.), and weren’t even asked if we wanted the check split up between couples. The husband of the couple we were with asked our server for a beer (he initiated the request after we weren’t asked) and the beer never came. With that said, the server did apologize after the meal for the spotty service so I do want to recognize him for that. Reading the other reviews it sounds like the service is usually really good at Bangkok Thai so I think we may have just visited them on a bad day but the taste of the food didn’t suffer at all. We will return.”

“This place was such a fabulously pleasant surprise. Really good atmosphere, And while we only ate the french fries, They were fantastic. The service was good and it was a pretty busy place. My daughter and I just went in to spend a little time together. And we had French fries and sodas and shot a couple of games of darts. Super comfortable atmosphere, and they have 4 dart board's And the pool table. Plus some really nice tvs for a small bar, especially. This is the first bar in a long time. This is a great little hidden gem in the valley.”

“My wife who is from Alabama proclaimed that the fried is was the best she's ever eaten. That is very, very high praise! The gringo tacos were a fun twist. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but I took a picture so I'm ready for next time :)”

“This place is so good!!! Reminds me of the 24 hrs taco places in AZ. The 2 taco combo is perfect, deep fried tacos and tasty rice and beans. The salsas are great too. Loved the green and the red. Atilanos has some heavy competition with the new Cali Fast Burrito!!!”

“The smore pizza didnt even seem to be cooked. It definitely was not up to par. Maybe learn from different pizza establishments how to make treat pizzas. The pizza was ok we tried something different and is the only reason its a 3 star instead of a 1”

“Looks can be deceiving with this place on Trent…from the outside I wouldn’t have thought twice about stopping but thankfully to other great reviews we did! It is BY FAR our FAVORITE sushi place between the Valley and Post Falls!! Their sushi is always super fresh, flavorful and just down right fantastic! Highly highly recommend if you’ve not been in!!! We have dined in and done take out multiple times - always excellent! The rolls pictured here are the Shogun (cucumber outside), Dynamite (topped w/ scallops), Ninja (topped with fresh jalapeño), and the Red Dragon!”

“I've been driving by this place for years, and I finally took my Mom there for lunch she had the BLT and said it was very good. I had steak and eggs with a side of bacon. The steak was nicely seasoned and cooked to medium rare as I had ordered it. It was a bit tough but it was a breakfast steak and it was not expensive. The eggs were also as ordered. The place is a bit outdated but I would definitely go back”

“What a terrific surprise this was! We passed it by once because it "was just barbecue" (we were wrong!) and "it's too busy" (we were wrong about that, too!). Even though the parking lot seemed full, there was plenty of space inside (and out). The waitress was all smiles, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly. The food, my goodness, the food! Kudos to the Chef! Creative, diversified food options and both the entrees we had were absolutely delicious. We will go back and we will bring our kids (the mac and cheese options are divine)!”

“We had a blast! Friendly staff, good prices. Please ignore the scores! 😆 Lg. Pizza was around$ 18, soda was $7 a pitcher. Great atmosphere, lots of families!”

“Laid back atmosphere, great service. The bartender/cook was really nice. BLT was delicious. Other interesting choices on the menu. We will definitely visit again.”

“This newer Spokane Valley eatery might seem like a weird spot for a family dinner with kids, but it was fantastic! The kids loved sitting at the repurposed truck bed tables and looking at the old cars. The food was really good with the brisket standing out as the best meat we had. Brisket was tender, with a nice firm crust, but still moist enough to retain flavor. The potato salad was surprisingly really delicious! Not your classic mustard mush with egg. Nice big chunks of tender potatoes, diced up pickles, lightly sauced.”

“First time here and I’m so impressed. High quality food! So authentic and such a good atmosphere. The service was great and always on top of it. The server brought me their Homemade Mole Sauce after being indecisive and wow, it was the best mole I’ve ever had. I got the Enchiladas Gringas and it was smothered in their delicious homemade queso. My significant other ordered Pollo Chipotle and he was very pleased! Will be back again this week!”

“So happy I followed a friend’s recommendation and visited this restaurant. The closest thing we have to a burger like this in the Midwest is Culver’s and this was so much better. Now if Zips had Culver’s butter bun it would be a slam dunk. I had the bacon burger and the bacon was two big strips! Fresh veggies and burgers patty. Nice hot fries not overly salted and that fry sauce is fire! Will definitely have to revisit this place in the future.”

“This establishment does not have gluten free buns so they put my burger on a bed of shredded lettuce with a side of their sauce. The burger was good even with out the patty, but their fries were pretty average. The portion of the fries was a lot!”

“They have very good food here. They have big portions and are very affordable. The staff was very friendly. We had no issues while eating here. I ordered the spicy shrimp and sausage pasta, and it was delicious. The portions were so big that we couldn't even finish our meals. My wife got the chili, and despite having beans in it, she loved it, with us being from Texas, where Chili originated, that's really saying something. The restaurant is located inside the Flying J truck stop, so it is a great place for truck drivers to park, eat, and enjoy some food from a real restaurant and not a fast food joint. Restrooms were clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area for sure.”

“The food was good. The oil needs changed. The staff was friendly. It's in a sketchy part of town. Lots of graffiti around here. Not their problem or fault. Hopefully it gets better really soon!”

“From what I'm told this place is somewhat legendary for sandwiches. The hours they are open are fairly limited as they just do a few hours around lunch each day and are closed by 3:30. If you live a distance from them and work regular full time hours you'll never get a chance to try their fare. We ended up driving all the way from post falls, ID on a weekday that we both had off to finally try them. I can tell you that the offerings are plentiful (check out their well presented menu online that is organized by protein you'd like on your sammy) and the portions are generous. Each sandwich we got came with a pickle spear and a handful of (stale) pretzels so don't go for the sides. It doesn't matter though because the sandwiches are that good. Fresh deli meat piled high on soft bread offerings or in my wife's case, she went with the egg salad wrap which was very fresh and light and delicious all while being enough for two meals. My only complaint, besides it being fairly inaccessible to me by virtue of conflicting schedules, was the prices. I don't mind paying for quality but two sandwiches for $35 is a bit steep in my estimation. Still .. I'd go back. There are just too many amazing sounding offerings that I'm going to have to try. Darn work schedule getting in the way of my sandwich enjoyment!!!”

“This was a pleasant surprise! Tacos El Cabron is a little tucked way off spraque. A friend brought me here. As we all know there aren’t many options for authentic Mexican food in Spokane. But this place should be at the top of the list. I had their birria tacos, they were packed and filling, the abodo brothe was so tasty. This made my day. If you go there (which I recommend) it’s sure to become a favorite for any Mexican food lover. 5 stars all the way!”

“Phillycious is such a fun fusion place. I absolutely love kimchi and the kimchi they make is pretty delicious. Not sure what I liked better….the kimchi waffles or the kimchi Philly. The waffles are so savory and crispy with huge chunks of kimchi inside. Never seen anything like them before having them here and I am here for it!!! I also like that they break the waffle into pieces for you so they are more bite sized. The Philly is so good too! The bread is so soft and holds together well without disinigrating. The sauce is savory and a little sweet. Really loving the Korean flavors on the Philly. The inside of the new building is so clean and the staff is so nice too!! Def recommend stopping by!!”

“Hands down one of two best Starbucks locations I've called home. I do gig work in the area and it's a convenient location. Have become friendly with the gals guys and enbies here and they are all so kind, friendly and warm. Can't recommend this location enough if you want a great coffee service with an even better side of friendly folks.”

“As someone who lives in Spokane as a vegetarian, loves Chinese food, and has tried several places in Spokane and Spokane Valley this place is unique in the large amount of vegetarian and substitution options. I loved the sweet and sour tofu! Most of the menu entrees had tofu substitution options. My waitress was great and very friendly. Very good vide for a small family or couple. It does have limited seating so on a busy day it may be hard to get in. If you like Chinese good this is a great place to try! One thing to keep in mind is that even though there is service the food takes awhile to get to the table so don't expect this place to serve a quick meal.”

“I ordered the General Tso's chicken and it was very good better than some others here in town. The portion was too large for me to finish. The place is small but clean and the people were friendly”

“Got 2 pork tacos & 2 steak walla walla tacos. Both are very good, walla walla onion bring a nice flavor and the pork tacos are seasoned very deliciously. Reasonably priced ($11 total.) Great to feed the fam or stop by on lunch! The salsas are good too, the red is nice and spicy!”
