My husband and I went in for happy hour and we WILL be back! The bartender was friendly and he made the best old fashioned I've had in Spokane. My husband had a gin martini that was amazing as well. Food was really good and atmosphere is cozy. Perfect spot for after work drinks and food!
Some of the recent reviews made us nervous to try out Hunt but we had a really nice evening and enjoyed our food! Our server was very attentive and we didn’t wait long at all for the food. We loved the Brussel sprout starter so much we ordered it again after we finished round 1. I will say the second batch was much more salty which didn’t bother us as we love salt but could see how others may not like that. We’d definitely come back, good food and cool atmosphere.
Fantastic place!!!
Great drinks and the food was delish! The pickle plate is amazing, the pimento cheese was creamy and just the right amount of spiciness and the grilled Ceasars was pure goodness.
For dinner the fresh papardelli pasta with tomato sauce and the mushroom stroganoff were jusy perfect. But the Elk burger was my favorite!
Lastly, Halle was a great bartender!
I look forward to returning here next time I am in Spokane!
I'm really loving the aesthetic of old Spokane building's basements being opened up and turned into speakeasy-like restaurants. This one's especially cool with the dramatic lighting hidden in the rafters.
It wasn't busy when I went on a Thursday afternoon, and the bartender was very attentive. They have a mocktail option for those who aren't drinking alcohol, I thoroughly enjoyed the spring buck.
For appetizers my wife and I got pickle plates off the happy hour menu, we saw them go out to another table and they weren't that large, and both of us love pickles so we didn't want to share. But this item is a must.
For dinner I had the pork shoulder and my wife had the duck, I would say that the portions are pretty small, but the prices do reflect the smaller portions. The duck was perfect, and my pork shoulder was wonderfully seasoned, but just a little dry.
Wish we could have stayed for dessert, but we had to leave in a hurry to catch a show.
I'll recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet trendy location to take a friend or a date to enjoy some drinks, and a few tasty plates.
