I went in a little between lunch and dinner. Food was awesome like it always has been. They seemed stressed and preoccupied with getting things done in the kitchen. It was kinda hard to leave. Lol
Came early and food was great. Friendly staff and very fast service. Prices were good too. Will go back again.
The Food is good. Some of the items on the menu don't tell exactly what they put on your food so if you have dietary restrictions be sure to ask. And the waitress wasn't very prompt.
I had the Taco salad. My husband had the special Carne asada. I was shocked when we received the bill for $25.95! It was the special! Can't guess what the price would be if it wasn't the "special!" He said the food was lukewarm, and the meat was chewy.
My shredded beef was tasty, but lukewarm also. Reasonable amount of meat for a salad. One small dollop of sour cream and guacamole. 1 "slice" of a tomato. Overall, it was an average Taco salad for $12.95.
$25.95 for a "special " is outrageous for a Mexican meal!
The Mexican food here is probably some of the best I've had in this region. The service was good and the place seemed clean. Nachos and salsa was brought to the table when we were seated. It was crowded at early dinner time which is always a good thing. The menu is quite extensive with a "small" portions section that, believe me, is not a small portion. Drinks come in a small, medium, and large size. We ordered a large margherita that was the largest I've ever seen; it was literally a bowl on a stem that could be shared by a table of four. I ordered the enchalata and taco combination off the shall portions menu, which comes with refried beans and rice; there are other side options available. It was good, but a little under seasoned. If you ask, they will bring a free dessert for each guest, that is a sweetened nacho with whipped cream and a cherry on top. Other desserts cost extra, as to be expected. A nice experience and good food. Enjoy!
