“Of a nearly 2k drive from Chicago, this place was an unexpected gift. Kind folks from the bartender to the brewer/owner. Their style of sours is very unique in my humble opinion. They capture a Goldilocks zone of tart, sour, sweet, fruit, and in some cases spices. Their beers are going to win awards no doubt. And the ba sour is absurd in its simplexity (apologies if that sounds pretentious) as it is complex yet so approachable. It’s got a synergy of wood, fruit, sweet, and some funk walking a delicate balance to capture the palate. This beer is new glarus on ba steroids (beer nerd reference). I’m excited for a return. 🙏🏽🙌🏽🍻”

“I noticed that the Devil's Brew is listed under restaurants....this could try be farther from the truth but I don't see how. It's actually a lingerie espresso drive through coffee shop. I get coffee a lot. I've been to every stand and chain in Spokane. This shop has, by far, the sweetest ladies. Whoever does their hiring would do the other stands a huge favor by helping in their hiring choices. Oh ya,the coffee is great too!”

“Our first visit to Taco Vado! We saw that they have very good reviews so we gave them a try. We're so glad we did! The breakfast plate included scrambled eggs, black beans and barbacoa beef with choice of torillas on the side. The hubby gives it 5 stars! I ordered the barbacoa burrito and a cauliflower taco that had THE BEST sauce 😋 🙌... I also had an iced chai with coconut milk... soooo good❣ There's even vegan choices on the menu! The owners talked with us and answered our questions about expanding their restaurant to include a patio and bar🍸 I wish we lived in the area so we could frequent this place❣😋😋😋😋😋”

“The food was great, the server was very sweet but overwhelmed (it was Mother's Day and the place was packed). My only real complaint was their musician. The musician was very good, but it was too loud for the space. It made it harder to talk to my wife, which is kind of important on Mother's Day. LOL. Their scotch egg is really good, and is probably the best in Spokane (the best overall is at Crown and Thistle in CDA, but if you don't want to drive 30 minutes, Elliott's will satisfy your needs most satisfactorily).”

“Employees wear gloves but use the same gloves to handle food and cash without changing them. They also wipe their noses and wipe gloves on their pant legs. This is incredibly gross. This has happened on multiple occasions. I get attitude when I mention it politely. When handling my food with the same gloves you take money with and do cleaning chores with is a horrible sanitization habit.”

“Genuinely the best experience I have had at a buffet to date. Came to this location after work on a weekday with my sister and dad. My sister was especially excited that they had sushi. After hearing that was what she was really wanting, the front cashier went and got the sushi chefs and they went to work. 10 minutes later the chef walks over with a full platter of beautiful sushi (photo attached) and it was delicious. The care and customer service this buffet provided was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced, and the food was delicious.”

“Specialty bakery, extra points for catering to people with different food allergies. Service can be improved though. One coffee arrived cold to the table (never seen that before on any coffee). Impressive long menu with many options. It felt as if they needed more staff or more action from existing staff. Update: I visited again and they are making an effort to increase staffing. Still doesn't do the trick for me. It's one of those places where you would like to give a great review but I can't if I'm being honest.”

“My Husband and I were traveling through and staying at a nearby hotel we frequent. Decided to order a Spokane staple and it was delicious! We got the cheese pizza with Italian sausage. The cheese was really good, the sauce had a lot of flavor and the sausage was tasty with a bit of a spicy kick. So happy we ordered from here and got to taste a pizza place that has been open since 1972. We also really loved the crust that was folded under at the end, instead of over the top. It added an extra crispness. Delivery was quick and it arrived hot and Tevin was polite and efficient. Will definitely order again if we are passing through!”

I’m severely allergic to cucumber and sesame in addition to being gluten free, they were extremely accommodating and checked in on everything to make sure I could have it.
