Martin Way Diner

Busy with locals. Menu was hard to order from. I wanted something fresh and it had a canned feel to it. Too landlocked to order seafood. Only had breakfast but not on my list to try again. Cinnamon roll french toast was great.

Great locally-owned small greasy spoon diner. Breakfast all day and open til 9pm. Friendly, casual staff. Lots of scratch tickets too, if you're into that! Great for kids. Probably a good idea to call ahead if you have a large party.

It is always friendly with good service. Popular place especially with many of the local seniors. Has good music playing in the background but not so loud that you and everyone else in the restaurant have to talk extra loud to carry on a conversation with each other. Had the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and well done. The fries were good but nothing to write home about. The coleslaw was a bit on the warm side on being served and wasn't very flavorful. It was warm enough I was dubious about eating it so after a couple bites I figured better safe than sorry so didn't eat it. Overall all was good and would certainly go again.

Been there twice several years apart, both times were excellent food and service. The first time we had an order that was slightly wrong, something like the wrong potatoes, we asked the waitress for the right item. Instead if just remaking that part of the order our waitress brought us the entire dish with the correct item at no extra cost. The second time our waitress was very attentive and constantly checking in on us. The food was just as amazing as before. Our waitress even asked if we wanted to take the rest of our coffee to go, which was really good I might add, she even gave us a full extra cup of the coffee in a to go cup. I have had a lot of really good biscuits and gravy, but these guys easily the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! Please go here and give them your business they are awesome!

This is small quaint cafe with a menu to reach the pallet of both young and old, big and small. I haven't sampled the entire menu because I'm a breakfast kinda guy. Their Chicken Fried Steak and crispy hashbrowns are to die for. Come with an appetite because the portions are ample plus.
