Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine

The food amazing, fast, affordable, and healthy. We’ve loved the food since their early farmers market days, teens included. It’s affordable to take the whole fam and everyone leaves happy—and we don’t leave broke. So good and no need to wait for a Saturday.

As always, DELICIOUS. We brought our two kids and my grandma in to eat dinner and my husband ordered one of everything so we could taste it all. Everyone raved about how flavorful and fun it was to eat off one platter. My son is vegetarian and had plenty to choose from, my daughter is a meat eater and particularly loved the lentils. And my grandma loved it all, commenting that the homemade cottage cheese reminded her of what her mom made "back on the farm". I've been eating at Ambo since she was at the Farmer's Market and I'm so happy she found a permanent landing place. Thank you!

Part of what makes this place different is they have managed to provide options for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters while keeping the menu small, affordable and incredibly delicious. I have never tasted lentils with so much flavor. The bread - amazing! They work hard here and when you come into this restaurant I feel like I am seeing a piece of the owners heart. She puts her all into this food. Absolutely amazing.

Wow the food is amazing. I got the split pea soup and threw in some green chili relish, yum! And the injery yummy too. A large was plenty, but I wanted more lol.
This is on my way home now so regular stop. But get there early, by 6pm the 20 seats were full.

Great food, great service and a very reasonable price. They let me combine the lentil and split pea dishes at no extra cost. And it comes with a side which is basically another dish!! Such a satisfying meal. If you like spicy, make sure to try their delicious hot sauce.

Fun fact: I was their first customer of 2020 :)
