Big Stick Barbecue

Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. Brisket was probably the winner, based on what we ordered. Burnt ends weren't burnt. Ribs were a little underdone. Cornbread was pretty dry. We enjoyed the Mac and cheese.

Again, it's not like we didn't eat our meals, but I doubt we'll be going back.

Solid barbecue. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Mac and Cheese, and both were pretty good, although nothing amazing. With takeout they give you two little containers, one of barbecue sauce and one of onions and pickles, so you can choose how much of each you want on your sandwich.

Love this place! The bbq is great and the people are lovely. We bought one of their smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving and it was excellent. You could taste the smoke throughout all of the meat and the skin had a nice kick to it. It made our Thanksgiving much easier to manage and tastier!

Check it out ASAP! My husband loves BBQ and smoked meats so he suggested we go. I'm pickier and tend not to gravitate toward these joints because I don't care for anything with a lot of sauce or fatty parts. So it's saying something that we both loved the food! The meat was perfection and everything they served with it was so complimentary. The buns were so soft and savory. I thought that the pricing was very reasonable given the quality. We waited no more than 10 minutes between ordering our dishes and them arriving at our table. The staff were so warm and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!
