The Loft at Latitude 48.5

Great food. Servers were overwhelmed and didn't come around much. We'll still go back for the food.

The food was good. The bar was pleasant. The choices were not broad, but were still good. I would go back, but the menu could use some work.

Excellent food! Excellent service (thank you Cassie!) The halibut and chops were the best fish n chips I've ever had - beer batter was so very light and crispy, not this thick, soggy, greasy, half-burned gunk you get in about 95% of the places that always ironically refer to it as "world famous" or "one of our signatures" or "a local favorite!" Nope, not here - this stuff is absolutely excellent! And the Thai chicken salad is pure heaven as well - SO much flavor!!! The only disappointing item was the French fries - could have been really excellent, as they were hand cut from whole potatoes, but arrived soggy. Otherwise 5 stars!

Came with friends to watch the game and chat. They had three screens at the bar, one of which had a hockey game on which my boyfriend and I appreciated. Enjoyed our drinks and the friendly bartender!

Good food. Wait staff was great. Nice view of the harbor and a good ambiance. Kids meal was a big hit. It came in a big paper pirate ship and fruit snacks included with the meal.
