Great little Irish pub in downtown Charles Town. The chicken wings are amazing and they have a very broad menu. Definitely recommend if your in the area.
Stellar place to eat! I had a Reuben and it was fantastic. I also had a mojito which was very good with fresh mint that they picked right then and there. Just lovely. Our waitress was funny and charming and extremely good at her job. My brother had the ribs which were so tender and if you like vinegary bbq sauce then you'll love these. His husband had the tuna which we were both a little worried about since it was an Irish pub. No need it was perfectly cooked and delicious. He had it blackened. Both of them had a black and tan which was beautifully poured. Not a beer drinker but they raved about it! Hopefully I'll be back in the area soon!
Great food, atmosphere, people. Wonderfully preserved, yet updated Historic Landmark with great character, atmosphere, and menu, with a pub style bar with restaurant seating nearby. Was leery at first, being the first to walk in as it was early on a Tuesday, but promptly greeted with a smiling face (Elizabeth), quick-service, and enjoyed wonderful food (i tried the tuna). I will be back in my travels.
Great fish n chips. Bangers and mash. They make their own sausage.
Had the traditional corned beef cabbage with red potatoes.
Delicious and a large portion.
Atmosphere reminded me of Irish pubs in the Northeast which was a plus.
Everyone was talking and laughing and if you weren't in a good mood when you arrived they put you in one shortly after.
Waiters and waitresses are spontaneous with a friendly attitude and good service.
Sometimes the band's play too loud for my personal taste but if that's happens I simply wear foam ear plugs and am able to converse with fellow patrons.
