“1) Visited for lunch on a Saturday. 2) Was seated promptly. 3) Seating was comfortable and reasonably private. 4) Drink orders were taken promptly. 5) Menu includes steak, seafood, country style cooking favorites, breakfasts, etc. Excellent variety. 6) Wife ordered broiled crab cakes while I selected broiled salmon cakes. After our meals were delivered we swapped one cake so that we had one of each. Personally, I like the salmon cakes as well as their crab cakes. The crab cakes have sufficient amounts of lump crab to provide good flavor and not too much filler. 7) Broccoli was not fully tender. Corn and baked sweet potatoes were perfect. A side order of corn fritters was perfect. 8) Everyone we interacted with was friendly. 9) Meal prices were in line with other restaurants providing unique, home style cooking in the area (up to 25 mile radius). 10) We will return again. Where else can you have a genuine, live vine growing from outside to your seat inside. Been going here for years and it has always been good.”
