“One of the best older restaurants in Beckley. Their potato wedges, grilled hot dogs, and Double King Cheeseburgers on homemade buns are delicious (I prefer slaw on the cheeseburger). They also have a good Chef Salad, Swiss Steak Platter with a yummy baked potato with cheese ,etc inside and much more. Good milkshakes as well.”

“I had the best time Friday night!!!!! I did have a two day hangover but it was well worth it. I haven't been to a bar in years but I highly recommend The Mad Hatters club. Everyone there are so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is like going over to a friend's house and chilling out. I felt safe and comfortable. Thanks sooooo much Stephanie Rose Murray and Ruth and everyone one else I met. Oh and the bartender is outstanding!!!!”

“Great overall. Music was a little too modern pop and normal for a unique place. The menu was similar, perhaps due to the clientele but the meatloaf was excellent. Went also to try the house stout- the lunar was very good and I purchased a growler to go. For 2 adults and 1 child we spent under 100 including the growler and tip. Great places like these make a town.”

“Captain D's is so much better than Long John Silvers for several reasons. First the grease factor. Captain D's has very little grease to their fish and chicken. On the other hand Long John Silver's is saturated. Therefore the food just tastes better and is a better quality.”
