“I love this place. From the first time you come in you are made to feel like family. I am not a fish/seafood person. So it is hard for me to find a place to eat on a Friday night. Most places have a very limited menu, unless you want fish/seafood. Knotty Creek has a full menu you can order off of. They have been adjusting the menu as time goes on. Trying to figure out what their customers want/don’t want. My boyfriend asked about honey butter to have with corn nuggets. Next time we came back, they had honey butter! Last time we were there he was upset he forgot to order them. Well guess what, he had some before we left.”

“Very nice place on Lake Petenwell with a beach, boat launch, restaurant and bar. It wasn't that busy when we went, just two tables with customers and a few people at the bar. They offer ribs and chicken, shrimp, cod dinners, etc. as well as burgers. What killed it for me was the atmosphere. The help (and there was enough help) just didn't seem to be enjoying their jobs. Not much for smiling, not very friendly and service was slow. This place did not give a welcoming impression. What a shame for such a nice looking place. Would not go back again.”

“First of all, Mike is a great tattoo artist. I can’t express with words what amazing work he does. I love the bar side, guests are very friendly and inviting. Never had issues whatsoever. I absolutely loves their burgers and mixed drinks. Not just the typical whiskey gin and rum etc. It’s also not just beer. “Pretty good for what it is - a nice restaurant in a very rural area. Service is good and the staff is friendly. We were there early and they decided to seat the only other two groups that followed right next to us, even though the entire restaurant was empty. It was very quiet and uncomfortable. Food was decent, as was the wine.”
