“I had a lovely dining experience last night!! I made a reservation for the four of us two days before without issue, and definitely recommend that over a walk in. We ended up trying the entire menu, minus the rabbit due to its popularity that evening. Highlights for us were probably the venison loin, manoomin hash, and the hominy, but really our entire meal was amazing and unique. Our server gave us a great explanation of the menu and was attentive and sweet throughout the service. I highly recommend giving Miijim a visit next time you find yourself island bound :))”

“Had an AMAZING experience here! when all other venues on the island were closed on a Saturday morning, we saw the tavern lights on and found Michelle who welcomed us with open arms!! She didn’t skip a beat to open early just for us, and her generosity and kindness was just what our group of tired moms needed to brighten our day. “Hayloft is the cutest! Lovely little reimagined motel - Ace Hotel Palm Springs vibes but totally Wisconsin. We stayed in the juniper room and loved the decor and all the thoughtful details - handmade soap, Kickapoo coffee with French press, and the best scones we’ve ever had delivered to our room in the morning. This place is the best. Farmhouse, their restaurant next door, has hands down the best food on the island - locally sourced, fresh, creative breakfast and lunch dishes. Even if you don’t stay at the inn I would highly recommend farmhouse brunch before you catch the ferry home.”

“We visit here every year during our anniversary trip to Madeline Island. The food here is well designed and executed. They focus on local ingredients and making dishes that are just a bit more classy than you'd expect from a little restaurant on the Island. The decor is homey, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. Definitely worth a visit!”
