“My wife and I stopped here for lunch. I was here several weeks ago and had the lobster BLT, and it was delicious. We were going to try the boneless wings, but when the server told us about the special, Shrimp, scallop, lobster pasta with mixed veggies, tossed in sun dried tomato cream sauce, we decided to go with that... It was fantastic! The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was exceptional! This wasn't a dish that was on their normal menu, but I told them my opinion was it would be a game changer if it was. I'm hoping the next time I stop there I'll get able to enjoy this once again. They also have a great beer list and a very good wine list as well. The servers were very helpful and checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. It'll definitely be worth your while to stop and try this gem in the North woods!”

“We were spoiled living in Phoenix for years and YES --- it's true; this place hits the namesake for Authenticity. The meats were tender and seasoned well. The sauces I worried would be "too bland" to cater to the Midwest palate, but they were flavorful, and range from mild to spicy! The white sauce is delicious! The variety of salsas will keep us coming back! (Our only complaint was quickly fixed! We had requested "no beans" but our order did not come customized. For our family, legumes are a food intolerance and that was disappointing. My husband ordered another to take home and the cashier noticed he had packed the other to go. He fixed the error for us at no charge. Great customer service! )”

Had a nice morning with my family, only unfortunate thing is they don’t have a highchair or a booster, my daughter fell out of her chair and spilled half her breakfast. The jalapeño popper sandwich was very spicy, I ordered it with turkey thinking it would balance it out, but there wasn’t enough meat, only a thin slice. This isn’t a cafe, they only sell drip coffee, and no other coffee drinks. Enjoyed the food, would go again, sans kids.”

“The waitress and service was good. Unfortunately the 1/4 pound cheese burger was not good. Tasted like it was sitting for hours under a heat lamp. Dry and not appetizing. Definitely wouldn't suggest that to anyone. My daughter's soup came out of the microwave and was only lukewarm. I really thought their food was better than that, but guess I was wrong!”

“Fantastic authentic Mexican food. As other reviews have said, the table salsa is a little spicy. I loved it. Loved the chips also. The service was great. Daily specials. The chicken in the fajitas is made with a spice, or something, that I’ve never tasted on chicken fajitas before. And I’ve eaten a LOT of chicken fajitas. Best I’ve ever had. I really liked eating here and I’ll be back next time I’m in Rice Lake.”

“With all the up and down reviews, we were hesitant to come here. Which is a complete shame. Also because of the reviews, we were forced into pizza, which is fine, as we wanted pizza that night. They have sit down to eat, and take out. LOTS of take out pizzas. People come and go constantly taking out pizzas. It’s very popular. So we tried the pizzas. The pizzas we had, the thicker crust and thin crust, were delicious. GREAT italian sausage chunks. On par with Sammy’s there. Really tasty sauce. I preferred the thicker crust pizza. It was fantastic. Fast service for ordering 3 pizzas all the while people coming in and also taking take out. I was impressed. There is only so much oven space. Great pizza. Friendly service. I’ll be back next time I want pizza and I’m in Rice Lake. Keep up the good work!”
