5 Star Korean BBQ

I will say this is the best place to get Korean food. It is pricey but it’s because their aren’t many Korean places in Madison, keep that in mind. It is slow here but they make it from scratch which gives it a great homemade taste. If you want to try something amazing get the yukgaejang, it’s beefy stew with glass noodles.

All the other Korean places are flavorless, in my opinion or they’re fusion. If you want good homemade korean food you should give this place a try.

When you go make sure you have time and I wouldn’t recommend going for lunch. It is a bit of a splurge but you’re getting side dishes too and don’t be afraid to try them all.

This was wonderful, food was delicious. The only downside is when you come in it does have a fermented odor that you have to get used to. Staff attentative.

I was working near by and decided to give this place a try. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Kim chi and pork dumplings fried, and some fried rice. They brought extra sides with my meal. The dumplings were delicious but very hot ( I'm a baby with spicy foods). The fried rice was flavorful without being overly powerful, very refreshing.

Went here with my father, and my step-Grandpa who is from Korea. He thinks it's the most authentic place in Madison. I definitely enjoyed it. The deukboki were delicious. He had the cod soup, my father had the sea food soup, and I had a spicy noodle dish with beef. All were delicious. The portions were generous; none of us could finish all our food. The staff was very friendly as well. I highly recommend!

Came at 13:45 on a Saturday so I can't speak to the rush hour crowd. The food was too delicious. I couldn't stop eating. There are, in fact, tables with grills as you would expect. Our servers were superbly attentive. I am completely in love with this establishment.
