Bandung Indonesian Restaurant

Watch your credit card statement for overcharge. I spent more time than a consumer should to recoup my over charge. I called. I e-mailed. I even got word from the restaurant manager to credit my card. Nothing happened. I have been more than patient with them. Because the food was good I had been a returning patron on several past occasions. But when something unfortunate as this arises you hope for the best and quick action. Chasing this down over months is the last thing I want to be doing. I avoid this place on the off chance this happens again. One unresolved incident is enough.

Update: The transaction processed. Thank you. I wish this could have been avoided with better follow up and verification that did not feel like a one sided effort. At the beginning and in the end, it is less about the money than the principle.

Indonesian food... so tasty. Food was so tasty. The service was very helpful and observant. The place has a cool feel to it.

Every time I am here I go to the bar area- which I would highly recommend. They have the "global noodle" menu and other food from the menu essentially at a happy hour price. They also have a bartender who is hilarious. I recently found out they make and sell their own tempeh, which is AMAZING in soups and stirfry at home. One of my favorite weeknight spots in Madison.

We're had a table of eight and everyone enjoyed their meal. Some liked lots of spice and others mild and kitchen satisfied all. I had the Thai fried rice, gluten free and it was yum. Fresh veggies. The sizzling shrimp dishes looked amazing.
Only reason I didn't give five stars was because service took awhile when we first got there so had to wait awhile to order drinks and by that time we were all hungry so just ordered food at the same time.

It's Wednesday night acustic guitar playing was wonderful, romantic! But other patrons in the other room by the window were really loud w/ their conversations...really diminishing the enjoyment of a quiet musical instrument.

Foods are good but portion is small.

Some night there's dance lessons which was nice, w/ a live band! But the dance floor is a bid small.

I wished they have some drink specials at the bar.
