no big sur-prise! this place is so nice! really wonderful staff & solid food. plus! pet friendly patio!!

Great experience and good food. A bit small so had to wait for some time for a table, but worth it.

I like the trio options: guac, tacos, and margs

Big Sur Cantina is a new Mexican restaurant in Madison. They serve Cali-Mex food and specialize
in handcrafted Margaritas. They're located at the former O’ Grady's location on Mineral Point Rd . Loved the vibe and feel of this place!! Great addition to Madison food scene.

We started with the guacamole trio it came with nachos and salsa. It was delicious and we couldn’t stop eating it. Then we ordered the tacos, they have a deal if you order 3 Tacos you get complementary rice beans . We tried the fisherman, aguacate, flautas, from the farm, and hot Cheetos. Each of the the tacos tasted amazing and were perfectly prepared.

I love that they have vegan options and there is something for everyone on the menu. The service is great and welcoming. The juke box is a great addition and adds to the fun.

They currently have brunch, lunch, and dinner
service. Don’t snooze and check it out today for delicious nachos, tacos, margaritas and more.

Wow this place is amazing.Really loved the decor.Beautiful colors and lights.Great atmosphere to hangout at the bar or just diner with loved ones.Freshly made delicious food and wide variety of drinks.The service was excellent ,kudus to the bartenders.Our new date night spot.

This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Madison! The margaritas were absolutely delicious and refreshing. The Big Sur was very tasty! Our meals were hot and full of flavor. We got tacos and a burrito and they were amazing! We cannot recommend this place enough! The staff is also hardworking and very friendly. I really hope people are patient with this place. Remember they are a new business and we certainly hope they succeed and will be back! 10/10
