My mother and I had brunch here for Mother's Day and it was wonderful! Our server Onah and all other staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. They really make the most of their space, so even though it's small you still feel like you can breathe. I got today's french toast special with coffee and my mother got today's chicken and waffles special with a mimosa (both dishes pictured - my mom had already moved her butter around a bit when I took the picture so don't mind that - everything was presented so beautifully!). We cleaned our plates and downed our drinks! Everything was very flavorful and the food was the perfect portion size - I didn't walk away stuffed like I normally do at restaurants but I still felt satisfied. I know some other people have said pricing is a little high but I think the pricing was fine, especially for a small local business; including tip we spent just over $40 for the two of us. Side note - they also had a sort of rubik's cube fidget toy at our table which I thought was a very cute touch - I forgot to take a picture of that. I definitely recommend this place!

The food was good. The price is pretty high for what you get. Portions are pretty small and extra charge for sides(hash browns, fries etc.)

Kudos for the fine offerings and attentive service in this new restaurant. It offers a focused menu with good choices. The appetizers include a latke that demands repeating.pkus the burgers combine the best of lean meat with juicy textures. I can recommend the fantastic chili, too. It is worth visiting several times to explore various items. Service stands out for the thoughtful attention. Plus it is a speaking build. I would to e down the sound system a bit, and trust that will come in time. Good work!

I don't want to discourage anyone to try this place. It's a neat, fresh take on a family-style restaurant. It's only been open two weeks, and shows promise... However, there is a great deal of growth needed. There is one truly resplendent dish on offer, and it is the potato and rutabaga latkes on the starter menu. As to the rest, well... The house-cured trout was sold out, so no fish Benedict pour moi. Instead, I had the green giant sandwich, a flavorless marinated tofu and cucumber concoction with green goddess dressing, served without a side or any garnish. My partner had a mildly undercooked veggie hash of beet, potato, rutabaga and sweet potato with lovely poached eggs. There were a couple neat looking cocktails on the menu, but we both chose poorly. My spritzer was not good, but the coffee was delicious. We noticed that every other table in the place had excellent, polite service. Our waitress was clearly having a very bad day, was forgetful, and just short of rude. Staff shakes itself out with time, and I am confident this restaurant will hit its' stride... But the drinks need to be just so, and $13 is rather a lot for a tiny sandwich without a side or flavor to speak of. The concept is neat, though, and I trust there will be improvement.

Stopped in for breakfast today and could tell it will be a regular spot in our local restaurant rotation. Delicious Kin Kin coffee, chill and cozy atmosphere, and great diner style faves with some creative twists. We got the waffles and the red flannel hash. Both were tasty and not too heavy while still being great comfort food. You know this place knows what they are doing because they have coat hooks under the bar seating. Looking forward to returning for fish fry and a cocktail!
