Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. - Hilldale

My wife and I ordered burgers and fries. The meat was stringy and not very flavorful. The fries got cold fast. It felt too much like a fast food, chain restaurant rather than a sit down meal, especially for the price. Last time at a Great Dane when a place like Dotty Dumpling's Dowry exists.

A favorite for good pub style food. everything I've had here is wonderful. quick service and great friendly staff and a good atmosphere. often a short wait at peek times, however it is worth the wait. I would recommend it.

The Dane is a solid place. Outstanding beer selection, solid menu with lots of good choices and the food is always good. An added bonus is the excellent service and the folks behind the bar are great at remembering their patrons. It makes you feel welcome and it's a comfortable place to hang out for a couple of brews and to watch UW Badger games.

Service was great! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and it was good but came with 4 bread biscuits, radishes, carrots, and celery sticks. I would prefer it with chips. I also wish there was a bigger cider selection
