we went on a Friday night at 7:00 and it was pretty busy, nonetheless we got seating in the front area with a view; not much to look at but there were a lot of windows. Most of us ordered the all you can eat perch. It was fried but not greasy at all, maybe because they were breaded and not batter dipped. We were a group of 11 and when we got there the table had a basket of bread, a bowl of coleslaw and a large bowl of tarter sauce on each end of the table. When they brought the perch they gave us a couple of large plates full of the perch for us to share.

The staff was very friendly and the chairs exceedingly comfortable but overall the interior was a bit outdated.

If it weren’t for the outdated interior I’d give it 5 stars.

Two friends and I went here for lunch, planned the day ahead, intending to enjoy the Wisconsin tradition of fish on a Friday. We were not disappointed. I and one friend first sat at the bar where he had a Lakeside Amber and I ordered a brandy old fashioned - both were pleasers. The third in our group arrive a bit later and ordered the bottomless iced tea. The dining room wasn't busy, and we went in and sat down on our own time. We were promptly greeted by wait staff, Tracy. We each ordered fish, two ocean perch and one cod - alas, freshwater perch is not on the menu today. The food was just great, nice crispy deep fried fish that was NOT greasy. Tracy was friendly and well suited to waiting table, and we all quite enjoyed out lunch together!

Went to the Esquire Club for a good old fashioned Supper Club evening. We had a large group of people, we had a reservation and a few more tagged along. Hostess accommodated we know getting there on a Friday 6:30 usually means 7 so what I'm with my friends and they have a bar. When we got to our tables we all carried a fresh cocktail in and then the fun begins, laughing and enjoying the people you are with! When the food came it was great! Before some people go out they should think about what they are going out for?
Relax enjoy and you'll find it makes things a lot better.

Its a little bit of a mixed bag. I’ve had some really good meals and a few bad ones. The first time I went I had a great steak. I’ve had the fish fry a couple of times but the batter is very dense. But on other occasions the fish has been excellent. I rate consistency as one of the strong indicators for a good restaurant. They are not very consistent. So, venture at your own risk

Very busy, old fashioned supper club. Food came out hot and exactly what our party of six ordered. Competent and friendly staff. Good quality, not exceptional, but good value. Definitely would go back.
