We had an excellent meal! We tried the walleye and it was prepared perfectly. Huge portion of thick, mild, flaky walleye. The new owner greeted us. He has made great improvements, including new big screen tvs, a beautiful salad and soup bar, new wait staff, and revamped menu items. The specials have been great and reasonably priced for a family. It has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and they are very accommodating. Our service was excellent. Way to go Northside Family Restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food was reasonably priced and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place and will visit them again when we return to Madison, WI.

This place ia awesome. New manager and staff were very accommodating to our large group. Quick services, no details missed. Great food. I'm not kidding. I had the best chicken wrap($8) I've ever had in my life. large portions and cheap prices. Someone else had the dinner chicken and rib buffet. $10 all you could eat. The manager even offered to take our group picture. quiet place for a group. I will definitely be seeking it out again.

Outstanding, the new owner has made a huge positive impact. The service is very attentive, the food is excellent, and prices very reasonable. The Northside Family Restaurant is my new food service destination.
