The food is consistently good, and the staff are always very friendly, which helps create a really comfortable atmosphere. It's definitely a great way to start a weekend. The updated interior feels really good, and the larger counter cuts down the wait for small groups, which can be helpful because of how busy it gets during peak hours.

Great pancake place. Yummy. Parking is a bit tight when busy. Had a great breakfast and awesome tea. Very nice prices, and I loved the sign by the counter: Work Hard, Be Nice to People!

A lovely place for breakfast. Very friendly staff and nice ambience. I recommend this place for an egg lover . Do try the Dutch delight and Eggs Michael here, it's lovely!

This place is great! Really busy on a Saturday morning but despite number of people waiting, only waited about 20 minutes. Everything we ordered was excellent- will be back to try other menu items, specifically pancakes- they have so many flavor options!! The Dutch Delite was great- loaded with fruit, the eggs Benedict with potato pancakes were very tasty, and the strawberry waffle with whipped cream was superb! Great service as well!

Original pancake house makes food extremely well and fresh. The food is always cooked perfectly, but, like a number of Madison restaurants, does not believe in adding salt or pepper to food. It's a shame since everything really is cooked so well and fresh. The jams and butter from there are top rate. I'm pretty sure they're made in house, but if not they're still really great.

Atmosphere is a bit loud since it's frequently packed, bathrooms are clean, service is good, and the place is CASH ONLY. Just something to be aware of.
