Favorite pizza. Their replies ask which location because the Monona Cottage Grove and E wash locations overlap, and the 3rd party courier orders make complaints harder to track down (They have a website, and deliver).
Asmo loves you
Update - 8 May 2019
Although I called their corporate headquarters and left a competent message, nobody ever followed up with me about this particularly unsatisfactory experience. Pizza Pit can normally be relied on for a very decent hot pizza; their lack of customer service with this incident is completely unsatisfactory.
--------------
I generally regard Pizza Pit as a reliable place for a decent pizza with a nice thin crust, and cooked a bit longer, "well done, not burnt," per my specification. The person answering the phone varies, from highly competent, to being in need of additional training. For instance, when a person is giving their credit card over the phone, acknowledge each 4-digit portion, so they know it is time to say the next 4-digit section. The man who answered last night was among those who are HIGHLY COMPETENT. This particular order left me disappointed, though, so I felt compelled to make a note of it. I called and ordered my usual, a 14-inch pizza with Italian Sausage, Onions, and Fresh Mushrooms; when the call ended, it was 7:06 p.m. and I was told I could expect my pizza in an hour. But when the pizza arrived at my door, the time was 8:38 p.m., and the pizza was at best body temperature, in spite of having been stowed in the usual pizza carrier and wrapped in a large bath towel – something I’ve never seen done before. I found that odd, as it was not particularly cold at the time. I said to the driver, "you must be insanely busy tonight," and he replied with something to the effect that they were understaffed, with only two drivers. I seem to remember a time when, if a pizza arrived a lot later than the time quoted, they didn't charge you, but that was probably in a different century. This experience was NOT typical for Pizza Pit, but being the substantial anomaly it was, I felt it ought to be noted. Perhaps they review these reviews and will send me a meaningful response, which certainly earns points in MY book. I still DO recommend them for a good locally made pizza, though there's nothing "gourmet" about it; after all, they're not charging "gourmet" prices!
------------update
Within a couple days a reply came from Pizza Pit, asking which location this was. I THOUGHT the review would by default be "assigned" to the right store, as it certainly shows at the top of my edit screen as I'm typing this. I can find no way for me to reply to the owner, so all I can do is add the location information to this review, though it certainly seems redundant: 1860 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53704

Not hearing anything further on this communication mechanism, today I called Pizza Pit's Corporate Offices in Monona, where the call was not answered by a human, so I had to leave a message, explaining why I was calling and asking for a call-back. This is turning into too much work over one very disappointing pizza order among a fair number of satisfactory orders, but there's a principal involved. A consumer should get what they pay for every time they pay, not just most of the time.

Always quick hot pizza as well as bread sticks etc.
Great food. I haven’t tried a lot from here, but you can get two big slices and a drink for $4.75. The few times I ordered delivery, it arrived fairly quick, hot and tasty. I will be ordering more!
