Rotunda Cafe

Had a summer special-lavendar honey iced latte- just the right amount of sweet and coffee. Hope to be back for food!

What a neat place! Monona Bank has done right by the community restoring their historic building. The Rotunda Cafe occupies the majority of the extra large lobby, with plenty of space to spread out. The friendly staff serves tasty local coffee and has a good looking good menu that I haven't tried yet - but I'll be going back to change that!

On street parking (free 2 hours, no meter) only. Unique, large dining area The Rotunda Cafe is an attractive rotunda in what was once the large Monona Bank building at Schenks Corner on Madison Eastside. Great ambiance, pleasant, soothing background music. Place order at counter, then weightstaff delivers food to table. Breakfast & lunch hours. Saturday menu included only one lunch item (generous serving of Russian dumplings of beef & potato ingredients), but during weekdays more expanded menu includes a breakfast menu and a lunch menu includes Russian Dumplings, sandwiches, with small dessert selection. $1 service fee for credit card use. All food items are modestly priced - a good value. Very pleasant and relaxing.

Beautiful space, consistently great Americanos, good selection of pastries, and the dumplings are delicious. I'm here almost every day. 😀

Wherever Pauls Pelmeni goes I will follow. Great tranformation of a beautiful bank rotunda. Work very close by and was pumped to have a good local coffee shop so close. The dumplings are simple and perfect, probably a top 10 meal of mine that I will enjoy until the end of days
