I had to be on a low FODMAP diet for 11 weeks for health reasons; meaning I could only eat gluten free or sourdough breads. I never really ate sourdough before so I searched all over town and this was by far the best. I live near Clausen’s and drive past Hy Vee to get it. They have it at Woodman’s West, but I drive downtown to get it to make sure it’s fresh. Once I’m off the diet
The best breakfast spot in Madison. Unique menu. Artisinal bakery. Delicious coffee. Sweet staff. Sweet treats. Killer jazz tracks.
Red eye biscuits n gravy is incredibly good. I couldn't scrape the plate clean quick enough ????
This wonderful place was recommended by family and was well worth the stop. The bread is ancient grain quality and worthy of eating, and I don’t waste bread calories. Breakfast choices are many, pictured here is the eggs Benedict (the hollandaise sauce was perfect) on their cheddar and chive biscuit. The apple pie was topped with their homemade cinnamon ice cream. Best apple pie I’ve ever had. Lattes were good-you will not be disappointed!!
We had Madison Sourdough make a small cutting cake for our wedding in June. Liz was so sweet and easy to work with. We had so much fun at the cake tasting and Liz helped us create a unique cake that was so delicious and pretty. I highly recommend using them for a wedding!
