Smoky Jon's #1 BBQ

Great rub and sauce. Not a lot of seating, more aimed at catering and carry out. Had ribs and chicken. The slaw was real good too! I will go again!

Fantastic BBQ! The food was NOT dry. Delicious! Sides were tasty. Even took home some sauce in a bottle. The man himself, the creator of Smoky Jon's, was there and talked with everyone. I know he is not there all the time but it he showed a care and concern for each person there making sure it was a good experience. Let's just say the food does that on it's own though. Highly recommend!

Lived in Madison most of my life and this is the first time that I can remember that I've been to Smoky Jon's. The lady at the register was awesome. We ordered the ribs. The service was fast and the ribs were excellent. Its a smaller place with limited parking. I was ok with the plastic utensils. Carry out seemed popular. Will try that next. Owner even stopped by to say hi. Thanks

Best barbecue in the state. Their ribs and sauce are legendary and have won awards all over the country.

You don't expect to find award winning barbecue in a little shack next the airport in the middle of Wisconsin, yet there it is. If it's your first time, get a full rack of ribs, fries and corn. You will forget about everything until it's all gone. So tender. Next time try some pulled pork or some brisket. It's all fantastic.

Excellent BBQ joint. Pork shoulder, beef brisket and ribs always good. Most plates come with two sides. I recommend the spicy corn and baked beans. The only downside is that it is a small place but if you want to eat in they will not cook your meal until a table opens.
