Taco Local

Great little taco place. I had their "Ten" dollar breakfast burrito and it was super delicious. The lunch/dinner menu looks to have quite a few options, each one looks delectable. I would recommend this small taco place to anyone.

Food is very good, but value on the drinks isn’t quite there yet. While tasty indeed, an $8 or 9 cocktail should be bigger than what we got. My advice is to serve the cocktails in what’s currently your water glasses, and add cocktails to your happy hour, too. The happy hour across the street is a better offer. Nonetheless, I’ll be returning for the pozole and hopefully bigger cocktails!

The ambiance and vibe in Taco Local was hip & relaxed. We were comfortable even though the restaurant was busy. Our server Ben was super attentive and helpful. His level of professionalism and humor was terrific. The food was beyond delicious. Pork tacos were our favorite. Everything the table ordered was excellent and the drinks were just a good. A little on the strong side. Which was perfect. Nice addition to Willy Street and Madison.

And so delicious. So far, we've tried both the beef and the pork tacos for dinner --- amazing —and the breakfast tacos with bacon — equally amazing! Going to try the breakfast burritos next.

The owner, David, is a super nice guy... and he makes a mean cuppa joe, too!
