Have a nice setup for takeout, have not eaten there before and only picked up food for my stepdaughter. Friendly service ?. Will have to try their food in the future.

Been a vegetarian for 27 years and eaten all over the world, I’ve never seen a restaurant with as many vegetarian options as this place— and they are fantastic! I’m definitely a new “regular”. Highly recommended trying this very affordable Japan meets Wisconsin restaurant!

Expensive for what you receive. They need a better fish selection. Wine options are ok. This place is all about location.

The food was delicious and fresh, but the staff was not very helpful and seemed annoyed by simple requests. Also, for the cost of the food I'd expect some sort of table service, but none ever came. You had to go up and ask for refills, which is not a huge deal but for the price of the meal I'd expect a fresh glass of water/soda every once in a while.

Great atmosphere with some great food. First time in Wisconsin so we tried the tempura cheese curds, and they were delicious. Crispy exterior and melted stringy cheese on the inside combined with the spicy mayo made for a good appetizer. I had the TK Ramen which was good but the broth was a lacking some punch in the flavor, but the noodles and toppings were very good. If I get a chance to come back to Madison I'll definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes.
