Tornado Steak House

Made a reservation. seated inside with the room to ourselves. food was delicious! staff were friendly. loved the shrimp cocktail. ordered the walleye fish with baked potato. free bread basket with butter.

Our First time visit with my husband. The best steak I ate. My husband ate Canada oysters raw appetizer he love it, Lol. We didn’t have no room left for desserts. Well then next time, we be going their more often. Thank you for your service and great customer service too.

We went because we are having all the Wisconsin supper clubs in our books signed, and we will go back because it is fantastic! Relish display and bread at table awesome. Three of us had something different to try - Duck, Pork Tenderloin, and filet. Duck and Pork had delicious sauces. Sides were good, I had the popover as you don't see those often, perfect. Wine list is good, old fashioned was even better. Cannot wait to go back.

Exceptional in every way: food, service, atmosphere. Truly one of the best steak houses in the US, ever! I was visiting Madison several years ago for a long term construction project and was introduced by a local. I ended up dining at least a dozen times over several months, it was that good. To this day, I love to tell friends about what an amazing experience I had, every time, not once was it less that 5 star. Should I ever have the good fortune to return to Madison, I will make the Tornado Room my first dining stop.

The quintessential steakhouse enveloped in a dreamy, woodsy, supper club atmosphere, bathed in low red light.
