Wonderstate Coffee - Madison

New favorite coffee shop in town. So bright and sunny, clean yet warm interior, and you can’t beat those capital views! I’ve had their vanilla bean latte and salted caramel latte, both hot and iced— all ways prepared, they were fantastic! I can’t wait to spend summer days in the big windows keeping a watchful eye on the capital square.

Probably my new favorite coffee place in Madison. A welcome addition to the square. Their selection of pour-over coffees is great and they make wonderful espresso drinks with great options. They also make a lot of their own pastries which are well-done and the things they don't make themselves are also exceptional. They the Bagel and Lox, Biscuit sandwich, or a bagel with charred scallion cream cheese if you want something more.

Incredible and beautiful cafe. I have no problem driving an hour to visit this place. Baristas are friendly, remembered my name and went out of their way to get to know me. Adorable merchandise, great coffee and environment. Wonder state knows what they’re doing!

My go to, tried and true. Wonderstate is as good as it gets for espresso, light breakfast, and lunch. Always fresh and delicious food, delightful staff, and INCREDIBLE COFFEE! Everything they produce is quality and a great value for the price; Usually $5-$10 for breakfast, $10-$15 for lunch, and typical espresso prices for the best espresso in town. I’ve never once had a complaint and always feel welcomed back as a returning customer. Huge praise to the staff for being so awesome!

So excited about this place. I think I've been there 3 times in the past week? Best vanilla latte I've ever had and I don't even like sweet coffee drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the design is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to try the pour-over and the rest of the food options. Bacon egg+cheese everything bagel sandwich is heaven.
