Bassett Street Brunch Club

The four of us all had excellent food and service. The coffee has a very robust flavor. Definitely will come back. Found out you can park in the Hampton Inn parking ramp and they'll reimburse you. (Unfortunately, found that out too late)

Cool restaurant. Easy/free parking. It was packed when we went so the service was a little slow, but it was understandable. Food was good and you got a pretty decent amount. Little bit expensive for a breakfast restaurant but would definitely go back again.

The decor and vibe is really cool here. The idea behind the food and the variety is great. The food was good but lacking texture. We had the eggs Benedict and the farmers hash. The Benedict had a small amount of minced prosciutto instead of strips and the biscuit was soft. The flavor was nice still. The hash was again good but needed bacon or something hard to help the texture. No butter on the toast or on the side was strange. Lastly we ordered a donut since that's their specialty I was expecting a nice big glazed donut but something was off about the dough or the oil. It left a very oily and bitter aftertaste. The vanilla latte was one of the best I've had.

This hot spot is a total delight. After a morning bike ride, I was stoked to have a mocha and bagel breakfast sandwich with breakfast potatoes. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the worked efficiently. I look forward to going back and trying other menu options.

Can I just. Please never take the coconut cream pie french toast off the menu, it is so good. The place is always busy but food is always worth it. This place is a Madison staple and almost every dish off the brunch menu is amazing. They have variety for all kinds of diets whether you want just a wholesome steel cut oatmeal or a hefty chicken and waffle (or donut, won't judge if you get both).
