“My husband was plowing snow in the parking lot this past winter when he got hungry and decided to try a chicken sandwich. He called me and told me how good it was. His words were, “I am a 56 year old man, I have had hundreds if not thousands of chicken sandwiches in my lifetime. This was THE best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life!” He told some friends of ours and they said that the food is amazing! Well, I HAD to try it! I am a southerner, born and raised in Alabama. I have tried MANY pieces of catfish in Wisconsin. I KNOW what good catfish tastes like. This place does too and got it right! So I can now say, I am a 43 year old woman. I have had hundreds, if not thousands of pieces of catfish in my lifetime. I can say that this THE BEST catfish sandwich I have ever had in Wisconsin! Great food takes a while, be patient or order ahead.”

“Had dinner tonight at McGoverns! Since it was a Saturday night we enjoyed prime rib! Steak ???? What a delicious meal! Great priced & great portions! Our meal included prime rib from your choice 8 ounce, 12 ounce or a 16 ounce, potato of your choice, salad or soup & came with carrots. The prime rib was medium rare just how I like it as well as juicy & tender! It’s definitely a place to try! Our waitress was Kathy & I have never came across a waitress so pleasant & caring. She sat down & spoke to our little 11 month old daughter & had a conversation with my significant other & I. She was so great! She was very kind, caring, social, outgoing & all around good person. Will definitely be back! No complaints or disappointments. Thanks again McGoverns for a great meal!”

“Great spot to grab some food, and have a few drinks. The atmosphere is great with a nice sized seating area and a large bar. Grab some of the in house brewed beer and get it canned up to take home! I would like to see a bit larger menu, and have a few more options. The blackened salmon was a great dish, but for the money I was hoping for a bit larger piece of salmon or a bit more sucatash it was bedded on. The house IPA was great and the cream ale was nice, light and refreshing.”

“My buddy and I work in the business park nearby and come here sometimes for lunch to get the $6 cheeseburger lunch special. The burger tastes just like homemade and you also get a large portion of fries and a drink with the special. It’s a great deal for $6, and we’re both big fans of the fries. Sometimes it takes a while if they have other customers because they typically only staff 1-2 people over lunch, but if time is an factor you can always call and order ahead if you pay with a credit card.”
