“Southtowne used to be my go-to bar when I lived on the Southside of town. I still stop in occasionally since I work close to there, great bar, very clean! New, and the bartenders are amazing. Usually* a quiet (people wise) chill bar. But you'll always get that big group that is loud and obnoxious every once in a while. Highly recommend if you need a wind down spot after work. The outdoor patio is fabulous, and if it isn't busy, the bartenders are more than willing to bring your drinks/refills out to you while on the patio!! If you're into gambling machines/slots there are regulars that come and play, I feel they payout fairly well, there is a little side room with 5 machines and an ATM for gamblers, the bathrooms are also new and very clean. The only way I wouldn't give this place 5 stars is if you go and it is busy... sometimes it takes the bartender awhile to get to you, but most are regulars so they can sometimes talk for a bit before you're served, but it's only to be expected anywhere you go, and I promise you won't be waiting long! When I visited this last time I had a house margarita (lime) taste on the rocks with no salt and a chicken burrito with cheese sauce. I really loved the burrito because I am picky and don't like all the vegetables that become filler. This was all meat and seasoned to perfection. The other person I was with had chicken fajitas and they looked as great as they tasted, according to him. The salsa was also very amazing, along with the fresh chips that come with it! If you are looking for a massive menu with great priced Mexican, awesome service, and a fun atmosphere, this is the place to go. “The food was great. Heads up the larges are huge. We way over ordered. I almost had a heart attack when they told me my bill was $89.00!! We got 2 large pizzas, a large cheese bread and some drinks. However, like I said the pizza was amazing and we had plenty of leftovers. I would definitely go back, but be more careful about the quantity we order. Also, don't sit at a table and wait for someone to come take your order, it won't happen. You have to order at the counter.”

The food was tasty—I had the Asian Chicken wrap, which had so much flavor and the perfect amount zing. My wife had the hummus wrap, she enjoyed it so much I didn't even get a bite. The homemade Oreo was incredible! And the lemon bars were so good. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for a bite, if you have a chance.”

“Dear god this place amazed me. The atmosphere is modern/inviting and the people at this location were very friendly. First I had to try the deep fried pickles and oh my to say the least! Fantastic! I ordered the Haystack Double burger which arrived promptly and looked amazing. After one bite is was on an all expenses paid trip to flavor town. The burger was cooked to perfection, savory flavors combined with the sauce made each bite a whole new experience from the last. Highly recommend to anyone and the location is easy to get to. “First off I very rarely right reviews but this was too good not to. We stopped in from Eastern NC on our way to MN!! Eastern Nc is know for their BBQ and this was amazing!! Megan our server was so sweet and took such good care of us. She even tried to accommodate our request of vinegar based BBQ. The food was so good and the service was as well. The collards were just as good as if they were made in the south. If you are a local I would definitely come and eat here!!
