“Why hasn't anyone told me about this place? I think I had one friend tell me it wasn't anything special. But I finally ended up trying it for myself, and it was a great experience. The have a nice drink selection. It looks like a great variety of burgers and sandwiches. It was hard to decide what to get for my first time there. I got the dry rubbed chicken an baby back ribs. Just the wood fired chicken is worth the trip here. The ribs and the chili is pretty nice too. I am definitely going back again soon.”

“Good food made better by the server. Went on 9/27 during a slow time but the server was great. Had a good deal to eat and everything was good. Not a fan of the cheese curds as they don't seem to be fresh made like the Old Fashioned in Madison. The burger I had was cooked well and the fries and chips were fried correctly as well. “The Server, bartender, and I think, cook as well was very nice and apologetic for the long wait with service, water, and food. This young woman was placed in an unfortunate position as it was obvious that she had very little help. Our burgers and fries were really tasty. This was a pleasant surprise. TGIF restaurant will hopefully increase staffing because they do offer good food. Corporate would do well to improve the staffing situation. We saw a family walk out because they were not being attended to, which is very unfortunate. This could be avoided.”

“The food was amazing, the servers were super friendly and were happy to give my husband and I a tour of how it all works as for it was mine and my husband's first time being there. Even though there's SO many combinations, our server recommended a few of the most popular ones. We left full , but not fast food kind of full, The full you get with eating a big home cooked meal. The appearance inside was very clean and they cleaned the grill after every meal they cooked. The meats and veggies are all fresh and not full of MSG. 10/10 Would recommend and attend again.”

I complained to the manager who apologized but nothing more. I called their complaint number and was satisfied with the response. We got a gift card from some friends so we were not on the hook for anything. Spinach artichoke dip was obviously reheated in the microwave and the chips were stale. The meals were okay. The place has not been updated in what seems like over 20 years. We will not be back any time soon. Our server was good and brought out additional beverages without being asked. One of my favorite things a server can do! She got the remaining balance on the gift card which was over 20% as her tip. It wasn't her fault the place is the way it is.”

“This was my 1st time eating here. We showed up at 4pm and they were putting out dinner items. They have a lot of variety. I took small portions of at least half of all the items and they did not disappoint on anything!!! Their sushi is the best I've found at any buffet. Our waiter was quick to refill drinks and remove dirty plates from the table. I now have a new favorite restaurant in Eau Claire.”
