“I’ve eaten here twice now and very happy to have Dos Caminos in the Manitowoc community. The service was very good, the food came out quickly, and the menu has options that aren’t offered anywhere else. I got two different yucca dishes as well as the tostones ( both times) and the fried cheese today. Everything was very fresh and authentic. I highly recommend trying the traditional dishes or the specials, as they are dishes that you can’t get anywhere else in the area. I’ll be coming back again and will recommend it to friends.”

“Home visiting my mother coming from the Chicago suburbs, the land of Mexican restaurants. My aunt suggested this place for dinner I have to say I was seriously impressed being in the middle of BFE. Yes the service was a bit slow with limited staff but the food was well worth the wait the margaritas were fantastic had ordered 2 pitchers which was the the equivalent of about 3 per person. They even had my favorite East coast Mexican dish the Chori Pollo can find that in Chicago. I will definitely be coming back.”

Any issues at all that came up the owner has always addressed and fully taken care of, such as I was mistakenly charged the wrong price once. Mistakes happen but he totally took care of it completely for me. This is Shell is run very well by the owner.”

“We try to get there on Fridays. Old Fashions are great. Atmosphere, staff and customers are fun. Eat at the bar if your open to talking with others. Pizza is a thin crust cut in squares, but made fresh there. Menu is standard bar menu, but the food is not overly greasy like so many. The cheesecake is homemade by a neighbor lady that comes in to make them. Order it when you order your meal, then if your too full to eat it there have them box it up to go.”

“A great addition to Two Rivers! I went there last evening with my family and got the old fashion flight as well as some food flights to share. Old fashion flight had some whiskeys that I never thought of putting in old fashions and were all tasty. The K-dogs and Slider Flight are perfect if we want to try a variety of items or share with someone if you aren’t very hungry. Can’t wait to go back!”

“This is a gem in Manitowoc, great location on the river by the lake. The food was fantastic, the best Reuben I have had in years. The tacos were very good as well. We ate lunch and had a few drinks. “We visited Saturday June 12 2021. Food was delicious and service was great! We sat outside on the patio. We ordered surf n turf- steak was tender and done to perfection, had a sweeter flavor/sauce I did not like as much my husband did, in no way was it bad tho it wasn’t my favorite I wanted more! The lobster was rich n perfectly done as well. My husband drank some beer, they had a good selection. I should add I’m gluten intolerant and not creative with drinks- the bar tender made me a great drink! So to recap great gluten free food options and drinks nice atmosphere a nice and attentive staff!”
