“10/10 would recommend, this is the best takeout I've had in the last 10 years. We had the orange, sesame, and general's chicken and they were all phenomenal. The sauces aren't like the usual super sweet, syrupy sauces that is usually on takeout. It actually had really good, unique flavor in each dish. The spring rolls and egg rolls were good, nothing crazy, but the spring rolls were the size of a small burrito, so that was great. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Also, the owners were super kind and friendly.”

“I had a delicious barbecue chicken sandwich on a buttered toasted brioche bun. Not too many places take the little extra step of a buttered toasted brioche bun. That’s how I make my sandwiches at home and that’s my key to a restaurant that actually cares about the food they serve. It’s the little extra steps that add flavor! And they’ve got it! My husband had the perch fry last Friday and said it was the perch he’s always been looking for, for the past 30 years!”

This place was very clean and the staff were very friendly. “We were sent here from a brewery that was slammed when we asked for a sports bar where we could watch the Iowa/ Michigan game, We walked in and they have plenty of TVs. We nicely asked if they could/ would change one to the Iowa game. They were happy to do so. We had a great seat to the first half. GREAT selection of Wisconsin beer on tap. We both had the smoked pulled pork with twice baked potato. The food and service were excellent. They have a wonderful Packer room to check out as well. Very welcoming and friendly. They have a great outdoor patio we would have chosen IF the Hawks were not on TV. Check them out!”

“They're in "soft opening" until October 9th. I got the ground beef taco and a brisket taco. The ground beef was very good; the brisket was Wow. I love this type of "Baja fresh" Mexican food. Caveat: I love cilantro, but if you don't, you would be advised to tell them when ordering.”

“Limited menu at this time. Very surprised my gyro was on Italian bread and not a pita. A little light on the cucumber sauce so ask for extra. Nice variety of bagged chips. I thought the lamb meat could have been a little more flavorful. Bathroom was under renovation and the toilet didn't work. Outside seating. “I used to work at a Cenex back when I used to live with my parents in Greenwood WI I worked their for like almost 2 years. When I asked if they made subs, I got a weird look. Every time a customer would come up to our window, they would look at the menu and ask for a specific sub with their own toppings of their choosing. I was just shocked to find out that I’ve been living in Edgar for almost 2 years and haven’t realized that they don’t make subs. Instead they make certain ones and stick them in a little fridge to where customers would grab them. But there was a lot in there and I feel like customers aren’t satisfied because they don’t get to choose.. I just wanted to make a citizen suggestion that maybe you should start making menus and you would get a lot of attraction from people who love subs!?”

“This place is the best restaurant in wausau hands down. A taste of the carribean in the great white north of Wisconsin. Try the Morongo and the empanadas with cream cheese and guava are to die for. Wish it was closer and anytime I'm up there this is my go to spot. Highly recommend!”
