Kopp's Frozen Custard

So good. My absolute favorite custard is the tiramisu. If you want a good filling meal, get the double cheeseburger with the works. It's more like two or three meals in itself really. But you get your money's worth on that burger. I do wish they had a crispy chicken sandwich, but their grilled chicken sandwich is quite good too. I like that they have a flavor forecast available for the whole month online. It lets me plan ahead if there's a certain flavor of custard I'm craving.

Delicious onion rings and great custard! A fave for a quick ice cream date. Check out the flavor of the day, and their burgers are good, too! Do yourself a favor and get a bacon bleu cheeseburger. Yum!

A Milwaukee institution, great burgers, big, cheap, and really good, get the onion rings to go with it. Custard like no other, so good. Great value! Culver's wishes it was this good.

We were in Milwaukee for 24 hours and tried to get as much done as possible. After asking numerous locals, they kept saying how AMAZING this place was. My husband and I were NOT impressed. After touring museums and walking around, we were so excited to finally sit down and enjoy a meal. Well, they do not have seats, just bar tops. Oh, and the bathrooms, you have to go outside to enter them and there's are only two stalls (one male/female). We both got cheeseburgers and they were HUGE. However, the main event I was looking forward to was the custard - it was lackluster... My husband described it as - something you'd put on top of a cake. It tasted like pure cream. I got one scoop of the vanilla and chocolate chip cookie dough. I think we were missing something because the place was getting more packed as the evening went on. However, the onion rings were the only thing spot on. Oh well, another thing to cross off our WI list!
