“I came here and ordered an Original Italian on wheat with everything - the best thing on their menu. But the location where you order is one of those where you need to kinda yell over a large plastic barrier. So the girl on the other side of the barrier heard me say "A Wreck on wheat". But she wasn't sure, at which point she said to me "A Wreck?" To which I responded "What?" And she repeated "A Wreck?"(this happened probably 2-3 times) But because of the huge plastic barrier I heard "A regular?" To which I responded with "Yeah". So she ended up making me a Wreck, and I noticed this probably halfway through the toasting process, at which point I decided to just stick with the Wreck... It was fine, but not as good as the Italian. Now, I could have told them that I actually ordered the Italian, but then the Wreck would have been wasted food - I can't have that on my conscience. So I guess the point I'm trying to make is that large plastic barriers and loud equipment where people order is bad design.”

“Was there last night for my birthday. Yes it was mother’s day. Was nice to have the beverage included ( soft drinks with refills) Needs to be that way all the time. I know most drink more than one small bottle of coke. I’d frequent this place more often if this one small change was implemented permanently rather than just for mother’s day. Meat offerings are delicious. Lobster bisque is so so good.”

They have tables and chairs, but it appears to me most people pickup, or do delivery. One of our recent birthday parties was catered by No 1 in Tosa (ordered a *huge* takeout feast!) and it was an amazing and total hit! “I give this place 4 stars because Megan was really friendly and also a greater server...however i did not enjoy the food so much. I understand its a gluten free bar/restaurant but completely lacking in flavor. All of the sauces would have been a compliment to the dishes if they were not ice cold. Drinks were great as well as atmosphere....also the "crack" fries are appropriately named. In my opinion the shredded chicken was a heaping pile of string chicken which was not appealing at all.”

“Hands down, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at for three key reasons. 1. the service, 2. the quality, 3. the price, and 4. the ambiance. First the servers were all fantastic, well informed, and helpful. The hosts were fun, humorous, and engaging, even offering to charge our phones themselves. Second, the quality was top notch while prepared in an appropriate amount of time. Third, the price was very reasonable; our group of four had three courses, for $68. Forth, the ambiance was incredibly authentic and relaxing. There were probably 100 individually lit table-candles. Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend.”

“Went to Smoke Shack for the first time yesterday, a little wary because of some negative comments. My family and I were absolutely delighted! Everything we had was so delicious. We started with the burnt ends appetizer - very tasty brisket in small, falling apart chunks and they gave us a chance to try all the different sauces on the table, which was really fun. Then we shared a combo platter. Everything on it was amazing. The chicken, the two kinds of ribs, pulled pork and more brisket - all were super tender and moist. They didn't need sauce, but since so many yummy sauces were available...well...! The corn bread, coleslaw, and roasted brussel sprouts were also excellent - I could have filled up on just those if I were a vegetarian. There is a great selection of cocktails and the ones we tried were fantastic. Service was excellent, too. Really, it's so close to where we live, this place may become our Cheers!”

Everything else I have tried has tasted pretty unexpectedly not good and usually because the other meats have been overdone and hard, maybe that is why I like the ham one(has been always delicious and I will probably still get)? The staff seems under a lot of pressure and may be understaffed during lunch hour, which may effect the taste and quality of the food. The cashier I had today was great even under pressure. She was very friendly and aware of everything going on. I would give her 5 stars.”

“So I visited this McDonald's location several times in the past week and I will tell you now that the subordinate staff members at this McDonald's who are not in the manager role probably won't like this review but here goes anyway: I think this location is absolutely stellar and doing a topnotch job as far as the food and service. When I got out of my car and walked inside, I realized why they are doing so well and their formula. They have a tough, no-nonsense sort of manager that keeps everyone in line and keeps everyone on top of things at all times. The staff all have this great respect for him to where they don't really mouth off at all so the manager really has this location in a nice working order. Because of this, the whole team all works as a well-oiled machine. It doesn't necessarily look like the subordinate staff enjoy being kept in line of course (lol), but they are in line and doing phenomenally as result. You can hear the manager booming at everyone to keep up pace and make the food right and it's a brilliant formula because they all do just that with no backtalk or mouthing off. The manager is an older, old school type of black man who probably knows the meaning of hard work from having lived back in the day. His subordinates look like very late teens and early 20 somethings. I think these young folks would just be doing their own thing and out of control if not for this old school type manager keeping everyone in line. They make stellar team all of them and the service is great because of the older manager's old school, no-nonsense style.”
