The Bog Restaurant

Food was okay! We sat ourselves, our water came out pretty fast. Price is decent, but we're also on short time and needed to be on the road. After the food was handed to us we ended up pretty much ended up sitting an hour for our check and forgotten by staffs.

We went 12 deep, about a half hour before they closed. Even though they weren't prepared initially, the service didnt suffer. The children enjoyed the (discounted) buffet. {All the food wasn't available since they were close to closing but remade a majority of it fresh} I has the Bog burger and oh boy it was delicious. *ask about the Bog Father, if you dare..lol* Lots of beer on tap. Good overall experience, though. I'd go back.

great Bloody Mary's, decent salad bar. prime rib is good on Saturdays and fish fry is good. service can be a little slow when it's busy because of the lack of waitresses. bar portion is very nice, closes fairly early.

Went for lunch while vacationing in the area around 11:45 on a Friday - waited for the food (a BLT & burger) for an hour. Waitress & staff was nice & friendly although my husband's drink sat empty for a good 1/2 hour. Had to get our food to go since our toddler's nap time was approaching by the time the food was ready. Our server said they had to hand make the burgers because the staff didn't do it the night before??? And then the bartender said they had a senior special that day & had had 48 people in that day so far. Understandable reasons I guess but still a long time to wait for 2 lunches.
