“Great authentic Thai food. Highly recommend the Pad Thai. Owners provided excellent service. The atmosphere is very cute. Mostly countertop seating against the walls, only a couple of tables so not a good spot for large groups but perfect for if you’re on your own or with a friend.”

“When they first opened it was slower, but now every time I've been, I am in/out within 5 min. The service is always great, especially the guy at the drive-thru. So friendly. And they were kind enough to give us free cold foam when I forgot to add it to my order.”

“This is a wonderful addition to the Northwoods dining options. The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the selections are vast. If you’re looking for a wonderful breakfast or lunch, this place is would be highly recommended. The spot is clean, the decor is cute, but not over the top for Northwoods. The servers were very friendly and the food came quickly for the amount of people in the restaurant at the time we chose to have breakfast. It was cooler weather when we were there, but there is a spot for outdoor dining and we’re excited to opportunity to try that later this year .”

“Wonderful location to enjoy a coffee, Bloody Mary, Packaged Ciders, and Craft Beers. A beautiful new building and warm welcoming by Pam! We enjoyed coffees, a yummy Toasted Jalapeño Grilled Cheese and an epic game of Jenga! We will definitely be back! A nice addition to the downtown Minocqua scene.”

“Wow! This place is amazing! We got the taco platter (chicken & steak). It was amazing! All cuts perfectly tender and not chopped so small but soooo good! We will definitely return. I hope this place is here for many years to come. The staff is so kind and hard working as well. ♥️”

“Friday fish fry was 15.99 for 2 pieces, 17.99 for 3. Hangouts were $9-13 generally. Pizzas available. Chicken sandwiches. They had a simplistic salad bar available. Hamburger was average. Fish fry was a little better than average. Chicken sandwich was small but tasty and tender. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. All in all, was a good choice for a tasty bite.”

“The lovely lady made us a beautiful cheese platter and gave us many suggestions based on our wine and drinks selection. Location is near the downtown area and it’s a big plus that the prices are great. The location can look a bit more appealing but over all quality was good.”

“Recently, I went for dinner. I had NY Strip, and it was pretty good. I was pretty full and couldn't complete my meal. Didn't care for the screaming kids running around. Sometimes, it's nice to have a nice quiet time to talk and eat. Previous review 9 months prior...First time here. The staff was super friendly. All smiles, humor, and great service. I particularly liked that no female waitresses were trying to flirt with my husband. .lol. The food was rather good. They had several seafood specials like halibut and crab legs, but we are more of steak and burgers. Hubby had the chipotle burger, and really liked the sauce, and I had the porterhouse. Could have used a tad more seasoning. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, but there is a musty smell, but after a few minutes, you don't notice it. We went around 5, and it wasn't busy, but by the time we left at 7, it was.”

“Today I enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The Grill offers a sparkling clean environment, decor that sparks interest and a very welcoming staff. Best of all is the food. I had a Deluxe Cheeseburger. The fresh ingrediants had it bursting with flavor. You must stop and experience it yourself. It will be your go to spot. I can't wait to go back and try their pulled pork and Mac and Cheese specialty.”

“Merlie & Roni took over the restaurant about a year ago, and the pizza is great. We recently stopped in on snowmobiles and had homemade creamy tomato soup ( with ravioli) and seafood chowder. The soups were out of this world. My wife doesn't like a lot of seafood, but she loved the creamy seafood chowder. New owners of the entire place (campground and bar/restaurant) and now it's getting a full makeover. (Roni & Merlie lease the bar). Highly recommend this little gem.”

“I have been here a few times. I often have their BLT or steak sandwich with fries. I like frosted root beer on tap. Portions are just right and decent prices. Husband gets the turkey sandwich. There is alot of meat in these sandwiches. They don't blare the music so loud you can't have a decent conversation.”

“First time at Henkel's Town Pump, it is great, comfy, lots of room, the place is old and has so much history. Our bartender Alyssia was amazing and our lunch was very good! Definitely would recommend stopping in for a drink and something to eat!”

“I love that I can stop here when I do my weekly grocery shopping. But, if I don't come early enough, they are closed. Sometimes they're closed by 3pm, 4pm or 5pm. But, I'm not going to be upset about them not being open. I know they've been having a hard time getting people to work, or unexpected things come up so they're short staffed a lot of the time. For the times I do catch them open, they are all professional, nice and they do their job quick. I'm never in the line or by the pay window for no more than 2-3 minutes. Even with them being short staffed, they do a wonderful job!”

“Decided to stop in for breakfast. It took a few minutes before anyone realized there was a customer at the front. The two employees were pleasant enough, but later a third employee came in while I was eating, and the three of them started to grip about other employees and how things were run. Now, I know employees complain about work, but I really did not want to hear it. Especially about the night shift not cleaning up or leaving things for the morning shift. Speaking of which, the booth that I sat in was dirty, crumbs everywhere, so they are not cleaning up in-between customers. Since it was breakfast, I would expect the place to be clean. Now the food. The waffle was actually pretty good. It was hot and was not soggy. If I remember correctly, I had to pay extra for syrup and it came in a small cup. I would have liked a little bit bigger cup. Also, they only have plastic wear. Half way thru my waffle, my fork broke. Pretty much everything is disposable except for the tray. I also ordered a breakfast burrito. It was much bigger than I expected. It wasn't to bad. I kept it simple with eggs and meat, but wish I would have gotten cheese for more flavor. I have not tried their lunch or dinner foods. But will likely check out their tamales and/or tacos.”

“Lovely, fancy little place! I had the chicken parm which was very good and a ton of food. My husband got a steak. He never compliments food but he said the steak 🥩 really was delicious. Service was wonderful. The owner was walking around checking on everyone. He is very nice and personable. The menu isn’t huge but it doesn’t need to be in my opinion. And the options they do have are fantastic.”

“Not just the best Mexican restaurant in the Minocqua area, but probably one of the best overall. We have been here for 5 or 6 weeks in a row, and felt like sharing our experience. The California burrito is incredible, huge portions and fresh ingredients. My wife's favorite is the chicken fajita salad. For big appetites, they have a "giant" menu with oversized portions on huge plates. The wait staff are attentative and funny. Great place to go!”

“Incredibly innovative menu tucked away in the northwoods. Everything is homemade, from the hand-patted burgers, rolled mozz sticks & amazing soups. The specials change regularly, they've got great Mules, & you can't beat a rotating menu. GREAT sled stop or quick bite after the lake!”

“What a great resort to vist. The owners are super friendly and care for the community around them. They have cabins and camping sites to rent. Our cabin was very clean, nicely set up, has all the amenities you need. Bar/ restaurant is comfortable, clean, great people serving you and great food at a price you can actually afford. I will be back to visit and maybe even be a regular customer and a place I will look forward to going to.”
