River Tyme Bistro

Went on a Thursday and had the lasagna special, really nice atmosphere, excellent food with a generous portion and my cocktail was enjoyed as well! Everything felt true to price, will definitely be back. Service was friendly, patient and accommodating.

Overlooking Fox River, beautiful deck with excellent umbrellas. Delicious, unique food offerings. Jamaican Hand pies in the photo. Very tasty. Wide selection of wine, beer and spirits.

Stopped in yesterday for a snack and was pleasantly surprised. The food is not A-typical to the area and is clearly made with care and passion.

The same can be said about the Barista Claire. We arrived after they stopped tea/coffee service for the night, she came out anyway to have a chat and make another coffee for me. When I say coffee I don’t mean a black coffee with some creamer in it. There is an extensive list of hand made syrups to choose from. You will have to stop in for yourself to see what I mean.

The waitress was kind and attentive.

Will be back to work my way through the espresso/coffee/tea/cocktail menu. It also sounds like the menu is evolving and I look forward to the future changes!

My main suggestion would be to make the daily meal a single person option. Both times I visited I would have eaten the main dinner meal while my wife was not interested resulting in double appetizers being treated like a meal.

Fantastic! Highly recommend. The menu is very different and we loved it. The service is top notch! And of course an amazing view on the patio. Definitely will be back soon.

A very enjoyable experience. Enjoyed coffee , which was excellent and a scone on the patio overlooking the river. A very nice place. Very pleasant servers. Will definitely return.
