“When you first walk in, it is definitely a bar. There's the typical neon beer advertisements, TVs on all the walls, and various pub games on the outer edges. The food selection is extensive and all that I tried in my few visits was very good. Try the specials, I haven't been disappointed yet. I love their beer selection, it's a good way to sample something you might not have tried before. They have a good mix of local, imports and craft beers.”

“We originally tried to go to the safe house downtown Milwaukee. It was too crowded and the wait was almost 2 hours. We ended up at the cruise which was close to our rental home. We we're blown away. We we're a group of 16. They gave us the private room. The food was amazing. Like really, really good. The pork belly fries, rustic pizza and classic pizza we're my favorite. The owners were amazing and treated us so we'll. The night ended with full bellies, warm hugs, and fond memories. Definite must.”

“my husband and I had the most delicious Thanksgiving meal today. it began with a cup of moraccon soup, followed with perfectly tender turkey. the stuffing was perfectly seasoned, the green beans were fresh tasting as the cranberry sauce. the mashed potatoes were swimming with thick and delicious gravy. to complete our meal we indulged in a piece of homemade pumpkin pie. thanks to Sam and his family ,oh and the waitress, we will definitely return next year”

“This is a popular place but I found it a dark and dingy atmosphere. No coffee! Owner said it's a bar, we don't serve coffee. Well, most bars have coffee when they serve food. I had a steak sandwich that was cooked perfectly, but the side of potato salad was off. Coffee issue aside, owner was pleasant and welcoming. My companion has lunched here frequently and recommends you pay a visit.”

“Went with my fiance and in laws and we were all extremely surprised at how delicious everything was. My chicken salad wrap was creamy and savory with a hint of sweetness and many dimensions of flavor. My fiance had the honey club, my father in law had the roast beef sandwich and my mother in law had the tuna melt. All the portions were enormous, everything was cooked fresh and prepared generously. The flavors were all shockingly through the roof. We have been coming here for our garden needs for years but never had such a fantastic lunch experience here before. The environment is very casual and only suitable for a quick bite or coffee, but definitely try the sandwiches because they are divine. Can't wait to eat here again.”

This restaurant always provides excellent coffee no matter the time of day that you're going. If you happen to stop in on a Sunday it's well worth trying the lemon chicken soup.”
