“Beautiful facility and location! Sat on the outside deck. There seemed to be some confusion of which service staff was responsible for areas or tables. So we waited for about 20 minutes. It was a beautiful day out. Our server Tasha was very cheerful and accommodating. She quickly apologized for us waiting. We ordered a few glasses of wine and had two appetizers. We had the chicken wings which were very good. And the avocado toast. Our only complaint on the avocado toast was the poached egg was cooked Softly. It would be nice to know the egg is poached soft instead of being hard cooked.When order this menu item... all in all we had a great time and the food and service was great, flavorful and fresh!”

“Four of four entrees (three steaks, one chicken breast) were perfectly cooked. The outsides of the steaks were seared wonderfully, both steaks and chicken were well seasoned. Baked potatoes were hot and cooked through, though the fries were a bit under done and limp. The salad bar and hot side items on the buffet were fresh and tasted good. Two soups of the day, cheddar broccoli and loaded potato, were both piping hot as well as tasty. Desserts tasted homemade, though the chocolate side of the soft serve machine wasn't working. Overall, the food was very good. What was stunning, though, and truly stood out, was the exceptional service. Our waitress was friendly, efficient and kind. She did a wonderful job, while making us feel like family. Every other staff member we met was equally engaging and friendly. What a lovely dining experience!”

“Monk's Bar & Grill is one of the greatest restaurants in Wisconsin Dells...nay! in all of North America. My party and I were greeted with amazing hospitality upon arrival and we were seated promptly. The food was exquisite! I was also delighted by the table- magic tricks! (I saw a straw wrapper transform into a lively snake!) The service is where the restaurant really shines - both the veteran and the trainee were nice and helpful. (so much more professional than a certain international house I have visited). My only complaint is the burger eggs - they were so...dry. I like my yolk to run like a fleeing criminal, not sit like a lazy ups worker.”

“We’re currently staying across the street from Cracker Barrel and have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner all three days. I guess that says a lot about this location. Staff here are super friendly and the price you can’t beat. 6 for lunch for $60 can’t beat that. Edit this was a five star rating until our fourth day dining here went left. Maybe they got tired of seeing us I guess. Minus 2 stars for our last day dining here. The restaurant closes at 10pm and we arrived at 9am. We sat for 10 minutes before someone came to see us. We sat for another 15 minutes waiting for drinks. By the time we ordered or was 9:45pm. The waitress brought our food and said they were out of items so they substituted items for us. 1. How would they know if we were allergic to the item they substituted. 2. One should ask before substituting. 3 You’re next theme parks so you should be aware of the last minute dining dashers especially at 9pm. Lesson to us don’t expect much when you’re walking in an hour before folks go home I guess.”

“Great sports bar/pub with some prices less to be desired. I ordered the BLT sandwich with fries and a rum and coke. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The bacon, tomato, and even the bread was bursting with flavor. The side of fries weren't greasy and had a bit of crunch to them which was great. The rum and coke was made properly and tasted smooth. My only issue would have to be the price, the drink menu had cocktails for $9 and my rum and coke was $7. Staff was very polite and professional. I will definitely be back when in the area.”

“Great buffet for a great price. The place looks very clean and have a super friendly staff. They have a small buffet with a wide variety of soda fountain drinks. The pizza here tasted amazing. With the sauce to the toppings and crust everything was bursting with flavor and I kept wanting to go up for more slices. Don't get me started with the dessert pizza either! Amazing! I would definitely recommend this to everyone coming here. They also have a salad station and some fried foods station. Only reason I give it a 4/5 is because of the size of the place and buffet. “My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night while staying at the Kalahari and let me say we were not disappointed. We got there a little earlier so we could get a drink and just relax before dinner. There was a live sax player and let me just say that he was incredible! He played the song I requested and he blew us away so that made dinner even better. Our server was on point the entire night with recommendations, to refills on our drinks. And the FOOD! My boyfriend got the prime rib ( which he was nice enough to share some) and it was so good! I got the scallops and they were perfectly seasoned and a delicate dinner. We split the lobster mac n cheese and it was probably the best mac n cheese I have ever had, it was creamy and not too much. I loved the atmosphere as well, a darker setting and fire places made for a nice comfortable and romantic evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dinning experience.”
